    CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS


    COLLEGE OF TEACHER EDUCATION D' NUMBER CRUNCHERS CLUB

    PREAMBLE
    We, the bona fide members of the D Number Crunchers Club of the College of Teacher
    Education enrolled in the BSE Mathematics curricula, imploring the aid of Almighty God
    in order to build an effective and worthwhile society under the democratic government.

    ARTICLE I
    NAME AND DOMICILE
    Section 1 This organization shall be known as D' Number Crunchers Club of the
    College of Teacher Education.
    Section 2 The office of D' Number Crunchers Club of the CTE shall be permanently
    situated at the College of Teacher Education Building at CSUL Campus
    Lal-lo, Cagayan.

    ARTICLE II
    DECLARATION OF OBJECTIVES
    Section 1 To develop leadership among the members through participation in
    co-curricular activities, particularly in Mathematics.
    Section 2 To discover and enhance mathematical potentials of the members.
    Section 3 To foster camaraderie among its members.
    Section 4 To help prepare efficient and dignified professionals in the field of
    Mathematics.
    Section 5 To support the administration in implementation of plans and policies as
    regard to Mathematics consciousness of CSUL students.

    ARTICLE III
    MEMBERSHIP AND MEMBERSHIP FEES
    Section 1 Students who are officially enrolled in the BSED curricular program of the
    College of Teacher Education Major in Mathematics shall automatically
    become members of the organization
    Section 2 Members shall be obliged to pay an annual membership fee of Php50.00
    which covers a certificate of membership.
    Section 3 Membership shall only be terminated upon graduation from the course, or
    dropping or transferring to other learning institution,
    Section 4 Membership fee shall be collected by the Finance Secretary.

    ARTICLE IV
    OFFICER OF THE ORGANIZATION
    Section 1 The organization shall be managed by:
    A. President
    B. Vice President
    C. Secretary
    D. Finance Secretary
    Section 2 Each of the above mentioned officers shall hold office for one year,
    Section 3 The term of office of each officer shall commence immediately after the
    election of the CSUL-D’ Number Crunchers Club members in an assembly.
    Section 4 A Faculty advisers shall be appointed by the College Dean, whose term of
    office is also one year only.

    ARTICLE V
    QUALIFICATION / FUNCTION OF OFFICER
    Section 1 The officer of the organization in general shall meet the following
    qualifications.
    a. Must be a bona fide student of the College of Teacher Education
    Department at CSUL.
    b. Must possess leadership capability and intellectual power
    c. Must show dedication and interest toward advancement of
    knowledge and skills among the youth.
    d. Must be able to preside over meetings in the absence of the office of
    higher rank.

    ARTICLE VI
    ELECTION OF OFFICER
    Section 1 Candidates of the different elective positions shall be elected by the
    majority of the members of the assembly / Club.
    Section 2 The election of the offices shall be done through nomination and raising of
    hands or standing
    Section 3 The election shall be held on the first month of the school year

    ARTICLE VII
    Section 1 Regular meetings shall be held every first of the month.
    Section 2 Special meetings shall be called by the President when the need arises.
    Section 3 The presence of the majority of the members shall constitute a quorum
    Section 4 Parliamentary procedures shall be used to facilitate transaction of business
    and to avoid delay in the deliberation of issues,
    Section 5 This constitution and by-laws shall take effect members thus needing a
    majority votes.
