    Learning standard 5.1.1 iii) simple action songs 2.1.5 Name or describe objects using
    suitable words from word sets
    1) By the end of the lesson all pupils will be able to sing the song based on the video.
    Objectives 2) By the end of the lesson most pupils will be able to say at least 5 colours correctly
    based on the video.
    Success Criteria/ 1) Pupils can sing the song.
    Can do statements 2) Pupils can say the colours correctly.

    LEARNING OUTLINES:
    Pre Lesson 1. Pupils watch the ’Rainbow, Rainbow’ video.

    1. Pupils try to sing the song guided by teacher.


    2. Pupils are guided to sing the song with gestures.
    Lesson
    3. In groups, pupils practise singing the song with gestures (M). Pupils are guided by
    Development
    their group members to sing the song (L).
    4. Pupils practise the song with gestures in their groups.

    Post Lesson 1. Pupils colour the rainbow worksheet given.
