Content Standard:
The learner will be able to understand and appreciate the
elements and contexts of 21st century Philippine literature
from the Regions.
Performance Standard:
The learner will be able to demonstrate understanding and
appreciation of 21st Century Philippine literature from the
regions through a written close analysis and critical
interpretation of a literary text in terms of form and theme, with
a description of its context derived from research.

Short Animated Film Analysis
 Motion Pictures can be considered as one the genres that emerged in the contemporary
times that clearly reveals the issues and problem of the society. Now, to further
strengthen your skills in close analysis, you are going to do close analysis of a short film.
 The short film to be analyzed is “Miss Pretty Nose” which can be accessed on YouTube.
(To be uploaded in Schoology)
 The submission is by group, but all members must answer all the given questions. All
members must submit their answers and with those answers, the group will now create a
1-2 pages summary and attached to it are the members’ submitted answers. (download
the worksheet file)
 Only the leader will turn it the groups’ output
