Flue Gas

What is Flue Gas?

Flue gas or Exhaust gas is emitted as a result of the combustion of
fuels such as natural gas, gasoline/petrol, diesel fuel, fuel oil or coal.

Flue Gas Components

CO2: Greenhouse gases
CO: Incomplete combustion
SO2/NOX: Hazardous
PM: Easily inhaled
O2
HCL
HF

Where does Flue Gas Come From?
Coal-fired power plant stacks,
steel mills, cement plants,
aluminum smelters, nonferrous
smelters, phosphate fertilizer, nitric
acid plants, sulfuric acid plants,
petrochemical plants, chemical
fiber plant and other large
industrial chimneys.

What is a Flue Gas Analyzer?

A flue gas analyzer is an instrument that monitors flue gases for
emissions and efficiency purposes. Sometimes, gas temperature,
pressure and gas flow is required. Usually, it has
