bio
Lightbulb co. is a revolutionary learning center built around integrating learning and
exploration with everyday life. Although their mission shoots for the stars, they approach
learning with accessible activities geared towards children K-8th grade. Their approach
focuses on core learning subjects (reading, writing, math, science, and art) positioned
with important values such as family, community, courage, and curiosity. A science
lesson could include a basic cooking lesson, or a challenge to build a fort with siblings.
We’re all about blurring the line between life and learning and we’ve got the numbers to
prove it works.

project
Lightbulb Co. recently went through a rebrand and are in need of new 8.5” x 11” trifold
brochures. They have yet to finalize content, and are instead looking for a template that
they can use once the content is written. They’ve provided placeholder copy, branding
elements, stock photos, and related assets. They will probably print their brochures with
Vistaprint, so while not required, you can use their guidelines for sizing. The logo and
branding should be prominent but not overhwhelming; they are open to designer
interpretation of their branding elements, and don’t want to push a certain direction too
hard; in other words, you can take the lead. The copy font, “Minion” can be synced
through TypeKit on the Creative Cloud, or a similar serif font can may be substituted.
