1. UNDER-ARM THROWING
- Underarm throwing is a manipulative skill that involves applying a pushing
force to an object to propel it. The preferred hand swings down and back,
reaching behind the trunk. The ball is tossed forward, hitting the target
without a bounce, and the hand follows through after ball release to at least
chest level.

2. OVER-ARM THROWING
- The overarm throw, also known as the overhand or overhead throw, is a skill
most commonly used in sports for throwing far and for making quick accurate
passes.
3. CATCHING
- Catching uses the hands to stop and control a moving object. Catching is
harder to learn than throwing, because children must track the object while
moving into its path. Catching, like striking, involves anticipating where a
ball can be intercepted as well as the ability to complete the movements that
position the hands at that location.

4. UNDER-ARM ROLLING
- Underarm throw, like the underarm roll, involves a backward-forward swing
of the hand to release an object – a ball in the case of the former and any
object in the latter. Unlike the underarm roll where the release is low and
close to ground level, the release of the underarm throw can be at any angle
or level depending on the purpose of the throw (e.g. whether it is to land an
object near or far).

5. BOUNCING
- Bounce is one of the primary eleven important fundamental motor skills to
learn, particularly for students engaging in Physical Education. As a
basketball player, It is necessary to know the basic skills or basic movement
in bouncing.
6. CATCHING A ROLLING BALL
- Catching a rolling ball is an act of stopping a moving object (such as a ball)
and holding it in your hands. It is one of the important skills that an athlete
should possess. He/she should know how to catch a rolling ball.
7. PASSING AND CATCHING
- Passing is a common technique in sports that use balls and pucks. A pass
consists of an intentional transfer of the ball from one player to another of
the same team. In basketball, lt is one of the most basic and fundamental
skills needed to play the game. It is when a player moves the ball to another
teammate through the air without being right next to each other. A pass
advances the ball anywhere around the court anytime a player is not
dribbling it. Catching is an act of grabbing and holding of a thrown, kicked,
or batted ball before it hits the ground.

8. STRIKING
- Striking/Fielding Games are activities in which players score points by
striking an object and running to designated playing areas or prevent
opponents from scoring by retrieving the object and returning it to stop the
play.
9. SHOOTING
- Shooting is the most important skill in basketball. A large part of shooting is
mental attitude. In addition to shooting skill, you must have confidence in
yourself to shoot well. The integration of the mental and mechanical aspects
of shooting fosters shooting success.

10. BATTING

- In baseball, batting is the act of facing the opposing pitcher and trying to
produce offense for one's team. A batter or hitter is a person whose turn it is
to face the pitcher. Hitting uses a motion that is virtually unique to baseball
and its fellow bat-and-ball sports, one that is rarely used in other sports.

11. PUNTING
- In gridiron football, a punt is a kick performed by dropping the ball from the
hands and then kicking the ball before it hits the ground. The most common
use of this tactic is to punt the ball downfield to the opposing team, usually
on the final down, with the hope of giving the receiving team a field position
that is more advantageous to the kicking team when possession changes.
12. KICKING
- A kick is a skill in association football in which a player strikes the ball with
their foot. Kicking is one of the most difficult skills to acquire in football.
This skill is also vitally important, as kicking is the way in which passes are
made and the primary means by which goals are scored.

13. DRIBBLING WITH FOOT

- Dribbling is a repetitive action in which a player uses one hand to bounce
the basketball continuously, that is, without interruption, on the court. It
ends the moment that continuity ends. It is an act of bouncing a ball with
both hands and with the footwork of our foot.

14. TRAPPING (A ROLLING BALL)

- Trap defense is a basketball defensive technique in which two defenders will
effectively double team an offensive player with the ball, typically near a
sideline and/or corner of the court.
