We all have been affected by the current COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the impact of the


pandemic and its consequences are felt differently in many sector.

And out of this one of the most affected sector is the education.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the education sector to not only upgrade its capabilities for
remote learning, but more importantly utilize all the tools for education to continue amidst the
pandemic. From traditional classes, online learning emerged to meet the needs of the learners.

Technological tools paves the way for education, thus helping students and teachers to connect
virtually through online classrooms, webinars, digital exams, and so on.

And one tool we used now is the Google Meet

Google Meet is a video conferencing service from Google. It's a great solution for both
individuals and businesses to meet on audio and video calls.

Google Meet paves the way for the COVID-19 pandemic through its enormous features for
virtual meetings as well as virtual classrooms.

converting them into net savvy and more technical mode. Teachers can create an appropriate

enable teachers and students to interact with each other through its convenient features along
with delivering lesson.
1. As a future teacher, why do you think 21st century skills in education is important?

As a future educator, in order to prepare the students for their futures, we must teach 21st
century skills. For instance, integrating technology in discussions help students more attain
ideas and gain learnings because of its features. These 21st-century skills are more important to
students now than ever before. It not only provide a framework for successful learning in the
classroom, but ensure students can thrive in a world where change is constant and learning
never stops. And they are also tremendously important for our nation’s well being.
Integrating technology in education offers simulations and multi-media learning environment
that improves students learning and increase the efficiency of education system.

2.How will you apply the 21st century skills to have an effective and efficient teaching-learning
process?

As a future educator, I will create a classroom that fosters productive environment where
students can learn in an interactive and collaborative way. I will ensure that the lessons and
activities are engaging and in inquiry-based form so I can better cater the needs of the learners.
In the activities, they will develop creativity that is ssential channel that motivates students to
see who they are and what they can do, and to realize what they can accomplish. Creativity
comes from doing worthwhile projects and significant tasks that give students challenges to
overcome in ingenious ways. I will also encourage students to develop their high order thinking
skills. The classroom should be equipped with modern technology which will help students to
meet new goals.

Students are always searching for ways to express themselves and their uniqueness. So as a
teacher, I need to create assignments in which students have to think up the problem and the
solution. In this way, students will be more passionate about the project, thus the more likely
they will want to explore innovative solutions for it.
