    My Name is Resti Saradela, you can call me resti. I’m from University of Pattimura with a major
    in management resources water. As a sixth grade student at Pattimura University, I am honored
    to have an opportunity to apply for the van deventer-maas scholarships program. I am
    committed to pursuing a career as professional management of resources water and, as you can
    see from my transcript, am making progress toward earning a degree in this field with a good
    grade point average.

    I will tell about myself, i was born in Jakarta and live with my parents blessed to have them. My
    mother is a housewife her name is Timoria. A. Siregar who can handled children and her
    husband with love. My father as a honorer teacher in primary school, his name is Ronald
    Abraham. I’m the oldest children of two sisters, I just have one sister her name is Elika and I
    love her so much. My father is the backbone of our family, he always works tirelessly everyday
    to sufficient our financial. After graduated from senior high school at 73 in Jakarta, I decided to
    continue my education into college The reason why I wanted to continue my education cause is
    very important for my future and finally, I chose state universities in Molluccas through the
    following test (SBMPTN) thank God, I can passed the test. My parents forbade me studying
    outside of my island because they want me to be an independent human.

    With the situation of our economy, I tried to find a scholarship to ease my parents burden and
    also to support and motivate me. Finally I found VDMS scholarships that provides material for
    underprivileged students. In addition, VDMS also gives a bonus to learn TOEFL and creates
    one activity, “Leadership Conference.” Therefore I chose this scholarship because VDMS can
    provide moral and material support in the form.

    In addition to focusing on my studies full-time, I am also involved in a number of campus and


    community activities. I am involved in the representative board of fisheries and fisheries science
    student (DPMF-PIK) organizations at my college, and have also volunteered with teaching
    English for needy children during school breaks. Where I have an opportunity to learn valuable
    skills that will help me in my college. And in the department that I took when I graduated, my
    future program was to continue the Master program or work immediately, which of course I
    want to create a sustainable coastal resource conservation so that around Indonesia's marine
    coastal area is protected from the threat of a tsunami,

    I greatly appreciate your consideration. Please know that this scholarship will make a
    significant positive impact on my ability to continue in my collage and will be greatly
    appreciated. I can assure you that I will be a dedicated professional management resource water
    that you will be proud of.
