    PROGRAM OVERVIEW.
    WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
    • Vietnamese youth development program in partnership with local media partner
    Next Media and the Vietnamese Football Federation (VFF).
    • Story and content formats around elite youth players during 1-month lasting U17
    training camp in Germany visiting.
    • Subsequent stay of the best 2-4 kids for longer period in one of the Bundesliga
    youth academies for an in-depth training.
    • Fully conducted, funded and developed by the Bundesliga & Next Media.
    • Weekly episodes in high production documentary.

    PROJECT GOALS
    • Finding the first Vietnamese wonderkid who will play in for a Bundesliga club.
    • Developing national team players for the AFF SUZUKI CUP, Olympics 2024 and the
    FIFA World Cup 2030.
    • Establishing a TV format for a young target group to set apart from competitors.
    • Bundesliga clubs to share knowledge about youth development through workshops,
    coach the coach sessions and onsite trainings.

    MEDIALIZATION
    • Creation of 14 high quality episodes each 12-15 min long to be distributed on social
    media and linear TV.
    • Production and distribution of +100 1-3 min long news reports
    • Live stream of training sessions and matches

    SCOUTING & SELECTION.
    VIETNAM

    14.12. – 25.01.2022
    • 44 young talents will gather at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center including 9
    coaches
    17.01. – 22.01.2022
    • DFL and participating Bundesliga clubs to establish a joint scouting team (Bundesliga Legend,
    one scout per club)
    • Joint scouting team will gather in Frankfurt for 1 day workshop to analyze player video
    material provided by VFF and Next Media (each player 3-5 min).
    • Joint scouting tea will provide suggestion for 25 players
    09.02. – 19.02.2022
    • Selection will be reduced to 25 players and continue with training program in Vietnam
    01.03. – 03.04.2022
    Final selection: 16 players + 2 GK and 7 coaches to go to Germany
