Care like Mum is a Day care center in Lahore located at Gulberg. To start a day care
business is need of modern era for professional couples who are looking a good hand
for their kids. It is a limited liability company running by owners themselves, who has no
such previous experience of managing a successful Day Care Business. But are highly
dedicated and ardent for establishing a profitable and compatible Day Care center.
With Business Knowledge it will helpful to run an affluent Day Care.
Our focus is to provide best services to toddlers and little ones with substantial
responsibility. We ensure to provide safe and secure services in a healthy learning
environment and to introduce new methods and techniques to engage children other
than our competitors are doing.
During the past 5 years, there is a huge increase in number of kindergarten and

when I saw some of my friend looking forward for a genuine Institute for
their Kids keeping, so I decided to fill the gap of market

 RELIABLITY: First thing that always comes in any Parents mind Is a
day care is a safe option for their kids. Our main focus is to assure
parents with our management and hard work that their kids are in
safe hands. They easily relay on us by our security system. We ensure
to provide them facility to monitor their kids by just single click on
mobile as the world is captured by wholly by internet.
 Physical safety of kids: We pay special focus on all little matters that
would me harmful for kids as the Baby’s safety is our first priority for
this we focused to cover the Boundaries of wall, to cover all the
switch board or other electric shock hazard from a child can hurt, to
cover all the stairs, balconies and windows.
 Physical health of kids: Our agenda is to provide best health services
to your child in our premises for this we provide full time doctor and
proper aid system in any kind of emergency situation

 Cleanliness and Hygiene: In our setup we are highly motivated to
provide each kid proper clean environment which include room
cleanliness, safe filtered water, neat and clean food, bedsheets and
other supplies without germs, windows and floors completely
sanitized, crockery used for eating must be sterilized, Bibs
handkerchief used must be stain less.
 Developmental Activities: We are highly motivated towards the
activities of children that support their mental health. Such as indoor
games, storytelling, Jumbled activities. Art dance and singing poems.
Social activities to Boost kids: Encourage child to develop social skills
such as manners how to communicate to elders and teachers and, How
to response with elders. Playground activities with other age group

infants. They are under supervision of well trained, nannies.

giving and receiving kids to parents. We provide proper identity card
to parents in on and off. Communicating with kids make possible for

care of babies.

with proper class environment.

In the fast pace world Men and Women are highly motivated to Participate in
Labor Markets. Therefore, gender differences in participation rates are lowering
in recent decades. Women are more ambitious in their professional career. As
the Women participation rate increased in last few years but there is still hurdles
for married women to continue their jobs or studies right after children. Most of
the women giving up their jobs for traditional care of their child. Therefore, we
decided to give Couples a platform where they can trust and perform their role in
professional career as well in personal life.
National Need:
According to Report of Pakistan Bureau statistic total percentage of women are
more than men and the figure is, 51% stands for women 48.6% for men rest
0.24% considered as transgender. Whereas Participation rate in Labor Force is
less than 25 %. One of the main reason women not joining the workforce is
family pressure and Child responsibility. Therefore, it is considered as need to

start an institution which can be helpful for women to start and continue their
professional career. We are hopeful to provide best child care services so
Mothers can easily participate in economic wellbeing of country.
Community Need:
Child Day care Center is not only a business but it is also a need of our community.
Female in Pakistan Left their job right after their marriages or kids. According to a
survey of Dawn almost 5.5% of women were fired just after announcing their
pregnancies. 13% females left job right after their pregnancy. These research shows
that if this problem is highlighted females can pursue their jobs for this a secure child
care is need of community to cater such issues.

LICENSE REQUIREMENT FOR DAY CARE CENTER

For day care center License, it is mandatory to define Business Model First. We set our
Business Model as profit Organization located at Commercial space.
License requirement may vary by state to state but there are some basic requirements
that’s must be fulfill for attaining license.
 Licensing:
Child Day Care center requires an official license for business from Municipal
Government. License is required to issued by child welfare and other institutions
like child rights protection for starting a day care.
 Employer Identification Number:
To verify your identity is most important part of starting a day care venture. The
identity is required to hire authentic employee and the process is just done online
without any cost.
 Building and health permits for licensing:
For starting a Day Care Center, it is required to inspect premises by respective
officers to verify the space is fit for the setup. Review the cleanliness, safety
hazards, and fire detectors. Building inspection includes electrical wiring and
plumbing as well.
 Medical examination :
Licensing process also includes Medical Examine Certificate from employer and
employee for up to date their vaccination. For security of child.

character certificate of employee is needed for licensing.

by keeping in mind the ease of parents to pick and drop their kid. Because Gulberg area
is considered as commercial area in context of offices and market present at there.
Therefore, a building of 12 Marla acquired on rent to facilitate our day care center. Rent
is comparatively high at this place.

 Glass:
Visual identification of sender and receiver of baby is placed on glass to identify the
person for safety purpose with in the day care premises.

Special attention has paid to set the temperature of day care center for the
protection of kids. Sensation are all along with kids so therefore, according to the
standard at least 65`F is maintained. Seasonal changing can be made in
accordance with climate change.

Lighting is one of the most important aspect when it comes to child safety. All the
rooms and play area is lighted with natural and artificial light.

Care like mum consists of 6 rooms center space play area and outdoor play
area. All rooms are airy and spacious. According to the standards of Child care
center. All the rooms are equipped with cupboards, windows, shelves, Furniture.
 Paint of walls inside room:
Color of paint and quality of paint is determined according to the safety of kids.
Walls must be cleaned before arrival of kids.
 Cover all electric switches:
All electric switches in all room covered with protective gears such as tape so
that crawling kids do not access the switches.
 Sanitation:
Trash Thrown responsibility must take place at least twice a day.
All the surroundings must be Disinfect with various cleaners.
Floor moping must be done twice a day in our premises.
 Heater and Air Condition:
Care Like Mum is serious for the safety of kids therefore, for the precaution of
Kids gas heater are not installed where as air condition are installed according to
the weather need.

 Toilet Area:
We have total space of 4 toilets. Sink is placed in each toilet. Sink is placed at
proper height.
Training chair will use for kids. After use of training chair, it must be Disinfect for
other kid. Soap and hand washing liquids are available in toilets.
 Ventilation:
Windows above the floor are placed for ventilation. Natural ventilation is provided
in play area and surroundings of day care center.

Management Plan
Care like mum focused on retention of staff Because high turnover of staff
is not securable for kids. Therefore, it is a very hectic challenge to hire staff
for Child Care Center.

POLICIES FOR STAFF
 Care like mum keep the record of the staff confidential into no information is
disclosed by the organization for safety purpose.

 Staff is not liable to disclose any sort of information of kids who are enrolled in
our institution. Heavy penalty is charged in case of any disclose of information.
 An inspection of any staff member can be compliance at any time for the safety
purpose of kids.
 No employee is allowed to be a part any violence activity with kids.
Health standards for Kids
Health is one of the most basic element of day care center. Without maintaining the
health standard, it is not possible to run an institution like child care center. Health
standard is applicable for all employees and Kids.
 Adult Hygiene:
It is required to maintain personal hygiene of employee. Employee must
wash his or her hands before meal the kid.
 Behavior Guidance:
Employee must be polite with the kids. Corporal punishment just like
striking child with physical object is not allowed. Teacher cannot use
humiliating words in front of kid. Confine and isolate child are not tolerated.
 Child Hygiene:
Employees must ensure hand wash of kids before meal. Clothes and
towels must be hygiene Glass and plates feeders must be checked before
having meal.
 Diapering Requirements:
Diapers, Wipes and other rash lotion must be used before diapering.
Diapering must not be done in meal area.
Safety Standards for Day Care center
 First aid training:
First aid training Must be taught to all employees. This training must be
taken from professionals of Health and safety.
 Fire Safety requirements:
Fire extinguisher must be mounted. Fire protection training must be taken
from any civil defense institutions.
Communication Policies
Parents Committee:

 A special committee is designed for parents in which they can
give review and suggestions to us.
 Meeting must be held after 2 weeks between teacher and
parents.
 Parents can meet their kids any time.
 Parents are responsible for pick and drop of Kids.
 Parents can check record of children any time.
 In case of any emergency Parents are informed firstly.
 Parents can access the Number of respective Teacher.

kids. That leads to major Increase in sales.

Training of staff has a powerful impact for attaining sales in day care business
because parents prefer best for their kids.

Different method of learning is being used for little brain development such as
circle time, riddles.
 Cleanliness:
Cleanliness is considered as our strength as people are highly
focused on neat and clean atmosphere foe kids.

People are brand conscious now a days it is not easy to introduce in limited market.

Target market to reach parents is very low in high Competition.

In Day Care business one of the most, weakest point is the un authenticity
behavior of staff member with any kid badly influence the name of the venture

Day care business has a strong future market as increased number of jobs
rapidly in this era have been. People are changing there for innovative study
methods for their kids.

 Government Policies:
Day care business is not easy as compared to other traditional business because
it is a Business with high risk safety of Kids if hurt due to any reason. It may
change the pattern of business.
 New Market trends:
This is an era of technology new ways of teaching and engaging kids are highly
adopted. It is possible in near future in modification of traditional day care
business.

Child day care center is a concept to support parents who pursue their professional
career in jobs or business. The turnover ratio increased by women side right after
the marriage Because most of the women left job after child. We designed our
business consider in mind the requirement of parents. We ensure parents the
reliability, safety and development of kids.
In our Institution we are highly focused on child grooming. We designed our
business to cater the need of parents with flexible timing .
