Onto a new school
Chapter 1

Splashes of water circulated the whole place, with wonderful smiles and laughter escalated the
space.
A boy was entranced with the view as if that he caught a sight of the blooming sunset that emits
behind the gorgeous blue sea. He felt like he got a glimpse of the sea.
As their eyes meet, Yukio quickly shift his eyes away from her and back to the ocean waves. He
bravely glanced once again and got numb on his fingers, dropped his pen when he was suddenly
approached by the sea’s personality.
“Hey, ever wondered what the ocean sounds like?” said the girl covered in snow-like cheeks in
summer.
Yukio stumbled upon her endless entertainment and was amused to her mini skits that day,
talking for hours without hesitancy, she talked about being a pirate in her own little fortress. She
glimmers like the sun, she was bright, sometimes bashful, and fun. Yukio thought of her as Sea
full of personality.
[Present Day]
“Ichika! *knock *knock *knock… Ichika! *(knock)3… Hiromi Ichika! I swear if you don’t put
your ass here right now! *Knock intensifies* Ichikaaa! Maaaa! Aaaarghh!!”
“I’ll handle it from here sis Nana…” a calm boy said.
“Sis Chichi… would you wake up now… for me…”
The door from Ichika’s room suddenly opened.
“Please don’t do that anymore Tenshi… that’s unfair… you sly of a kid who taught you that?”
Ichika chuckled.
“Good morning, Tenshi… and to whoever you’re with… What do you want?” Ichika said
monotonously.
“Good morning, Sis Chichi!” Tenshi replied.
“The audacity of this girl… will you shut your alarm clock now?! It’s annoying.” Luna said
menacingly.
“Alright. Alright. I’ll turn it off. Will you go now? Geez… too much adrenaline for morning…”
Ichika shrugs her off.
As Ichika glanced at her phone, she got adrenaline and quickly make her way to take shower.
“The Orientation starts at 6:30! Mother. Why didn’t you waked me up early?” Ichika said while
her little brother brushes her hair.
“Time… how can something be magnificent and irrelevant at the same time” Tenshi said to
himself.
“Seriously. Where are you learning this? You’re like five! Ichika shook her head.
“Didn’t I told you to update your alarm clock?” Her mother replied.
“I did… *quickly looked at her phone* not… I forgooot.” Ichika sobs.
“Alright. Here is your lunch. Your ribbon. And a bread.”
“What’s the bread for? Nevermind… I’m off!” Ichika rushed off with mouthful of bread.
Finally reaching her destination. Ichika wondered why the students are walking as if that they
aren’t going to be late. Ichika froze for a second while peeking at the handbook.
As her body relaxed, she fell on her knees due to the adrenaline being gone.
“*sigh* the Orientation’s at 7:30” Ichika whispered to herself.
“Welp. Better than early than late, I guess…” Ichika was about to stand and was offered a hand
by a white-eyed guy.
“Are you okay?” they guy asked.
Ichika got confused for a second.
“Oh, I’m okay.” Ichika replied. Totally ignoring his offer, she said her thanks, and sprint walks
her way off.
After walking for a while, she was dreaded of pure anxiety on what she just did.
“Dummy! You could’ve have taken his hand! Why must you make it complicated…” Ichika
muttered to herself.
After her short existential crisis, Ichika found her class number and proceed to find her class
solely on intuition.
“Building four… building four… oop there it is!” Ichika was stunned for a moment after seeing
the white-eyed guy entering her room.
Turns out it was the other room. He was on room 6 and she was on room 5.
Ichika was relieved and bunny hops into his classroom like a little kid.
“Good morning.” Ichika whispered to see if there were people inside already.
She was glad that she got first and picked her seat. The protagonist seat, which was not the end
of the classroom, it was the second seat at the end.
Ichika exploded with enjoyment. She started to dance for a little and puts her bag to her seat.
After putting her bag on her seat. She decided to visit the Swimming club.
On the other hand, Yukio was bewildered by how cute and wholesome Ichika is. He was
controlling his giggles and laughter. After seeing her leaving the classroom he took his chance at
sitting beside her.
On her way to the swimming club, she hears splashes of water echoing the room.
Winds blows up to her way as she sees a perfected executed freestyle entrée. She was exhilarated
and wanted to see more. The way she elegantly swims has made her in awe.
Ichika felt goosebumps from it. She made a glare, and her competitiveness leaks out. “You’re
fast”
The girl turned her way.
Ichika woke up and realized what she has said.
“E-Erhm, I mean you are… so amazing and fast… senior? Sorry for bothering you. Goodbye”
Ichika runs off blushingly.
As she left, embarrassed by how her day was ruined when the class hasn’t even started yet. She
found herself roaming the school again, when suddenly the school bell rang advising the students
to prepare for the freshman’s orientation.
Ichika got to her classroom, she got greeted by her childhood friend Yui.
“Nyahallo~ Ichimki, where have you been up to?” Yui said in a soft voice.
She was stared at suddenly due to her friend’s call.
“I was in your house earlier… but your mama said you went ages ago~… didn’t we agreed to go
together today? Yui added.
“Oh yeah, you forgot your water bott-“Yui pointed at her desk was stopped.
Ichika slap grab Yui’s hand. Puts her other hand on her lip and whispered “Hello, friend”. She
was in dire need to stop Yui at showing everyone her water bottle and wanted to escape the
crowd’s sight quickly.
After leaving the room, Ichika cannot believe how hectic it has been. She just stood still at
Freshman’s Orientation. Hoping that nothing more will happen.
They got back from the Orientation. Ichika was back to her normal calm state. Next is
Introductions. Ichika wanted to perfect her first impression to the class. Which is to perform as
being not too showy and not too dull, with perfect balance element of humor and a speckle of
mature honor student. She was looking forward to the introductions when suddenly she notices
someone familiar sitting beside her.
“Ah.” Ichika blurted out.
She wasn’t heard by the class or anything, but he definitely heard her yell.
He chuckled for a little.
Meanwhile. Ichika with her mind exploding due to immense embarrassment. Crossed her hand
and bury her head with it on her desk.
“Why is this happening to me!” Ichika sobs to herself.
“Hiromi Ichika-san…” The teacher recited.
“Hiromi Ichika-san…” The teacher calls her once more.
“Yes?” Ichika quickly stands.
“Would you mind introducing yourself to us?” The teacher responded.
“Ah yes, My name’s Hiromi Ichika. As the name suggests it is written as Beautiful of a thousand
flowers, I am 15 years old, and I love the sea.” Ichika immediately sits down after her
introduction.
She glanced her right and sees her classmate chuckled once again. She glared this time and sent
her in stiff in his seat.
After a lot of laughs and cheers. It was Yukio’s time to introduce.
“My name’s Hara Yukio, I am 16 years old, I live in Ouran district, and I love poetry and making
Haikus. Please to meet everyone here.
Everyone applaud while the others were squeaking. It made both Yukio and Ichika confused to
how a single phrase made them applause and to how can he do it without flaws. In short, one
doesn’t know how that statement made everyone applaud, and the other was just in pure envy.
Ichika was determined to not make anymore mistake for the rest of the school hours. As
moments proceed proportionally to time, class bells once more… it was the end of the day in
school.
The freshman’s exit hall was bombarded with senior holding signs, hoping to get some attention
into joining their clubs, some were handling papers and others were kidnapping students?
“Hey Chi~ki, are you going to visit the swimming club? I heard they are performing the
swimming forms today.” Yui bumps into Ichika.
Ichika got flustered “O-ohh yeah. Swimming club.” She got intimidated by how well matured
her thing was.
As she was distinct to join the swimming club once again. She remembered what happened early
in the morning.
“O-on second thought I think I’ll pass for today, See yo-“
Before even finishing the sentence, she was pulled by Yui… ‘I can just say my sorry, everything
will be alright. I hope’ Ichika said in her mind and ended up giving a big sigh.
Entering the club’s pool ground, she notices someone from the distance. She misses her glance
because she was pushed off by a girl…
“A girl? Wait you wer- good afternoon senior…” Ichika smiled awkwardly.
It was the girl from this morning.
She got pushed and was stopped in front of a pony tailed girl.
“Hello Freshman’s! I am the Club’s President. Aoki, Sana.”
‘She was the president?!’ Ichika said in her mind.
“We were just about to make a relay race for the freshmen to see. Now make sure to watch
carefully and pick your swimming forms.” Aoki added.
The girl from this morning shouted. “Freshman line up beside the diving board!” And hops
excitedly in the diving board.
As she walked towards the diving board, she finally saw the girl that she was familiar earlier.
She automatically turned around and was about to run but she was stopped by Yui in her
shoulders. She turned to Yui’s way, and her face opens after seeing her old teammate in their
school.
“Reina!” Yui shouted.
“Reina!” Yui repeated.
“Re- “ Yui’s mouth got Ichika’s hand in it.
After seeing the two batter up their voices. They were approached by Reina. Meanwhile, Reina
was confused as to why is she seeing two creatures fighting.
“AAHH. Stop biting me.” Ichika shouted.
“Then stop, stopping me to speak. Isn’t our country Freedom one? Let one’s voice be heard
Ichika.” Yui replied.
Ichika crouched in pain. She was embarrassed and pretty much tired of all fiasco she’s been to
everyday. She wanted to go home.
“Hello, Ichika.” Reina uttered.
“Hi Reina!” Yui interrupted.
“I’m sorry. Who are you again?” Reina responded.
Yui fell on her knees. Felt depression for the first time, she was in disbelief as to why she was
annihilated by a single quote. She undresses into her swimming outfit as if she was ready to
drown herself.
Meanwhile, everyone was surprised as to why she has swimming outfit behind her clothes.
“HAHAHAHA, seems like we will have a wonderful year this time!”
The girl from yesterday commented.
“Nyaaaaahallo, I am the swimming club’s Vice President, Hayami Ayaka. Pleasure’s all mine
Freshman’s” She bowed like a gentleman.
