The Department of Health – Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) SOCCSKSARGEN
Region – Health Emergency Management Staff (HEMS) will conduct Basic Life Support
Training of Trainers (BLS-TOT) on April 24-30, 2022 at Koronadal City.
The said training aims to develop core trainers for SOCCSKSARGEN Region to aid in
capacitating their respective areas for health emergency management. These core trainers
are expected to provide technical assistance in their area of responsibility through conduct of
BLS Training for Healthcare Providers and Lay rescuers who are responsible to respond in
emergency situations in order to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of
respiratory and cardiac emergencies until more advanced medical help arrives.
Anent this, we would like to request one (1) participant from your Rural Health Unit (RHU) to
join the said training. Attached herewith is the copy of confirmation form and requirements of
the participants. Please comply the confirmation form and submit to IPHO not later than April
08, 2022
Board and lodging of the participants is part of the training cost. Transportation, per diem, and
other incidental expenses will be charged to the sending agency.
