ALPHA HELMETS COLOUR CHART Alpha helmets are available in a range of colours. Gloss white is the standard colour of helmets that we usually stock. We also stock a limited amount of helmets in Gloss Yellow and Dark Blue. Other colours are available usually in an 8 week delivery. ALPHA 900 EAGLE PILOT HELMET The Alpha Eagle is an ultra-light helmet designed for use in helicopters and fixed wing, non-ejection seat aircraft. Weighing only 980 grams this multi-function helmet has an exceptionally strong epoxy resin, aramid and carbon fibre construction providing the ultimate in high comfort and protection. Simple rapid adjustment incorporating a unique quick release ratchet system enables the Alpha Eagle to be fitted to a wide range of head sizes and shapes, achieving superb retention and balance. The system enables the Alpha Eagle to be fitted to a wide range of head shapes and sizes with superb retention and balances.
CUSTOM HELMET PAINTING Custom helmet painting is available on request and is quoted for specifically on each design depending on complexity. Custom painting is not cheap as the whole standard helmet has to be stripped down, painted and reassembled. We use a top quality airbrush artist to ensure an outstanding finish. Prices start from 250 for a single colour upwards.

ACTIVE NOISE REDUCTION (ANR)

Headset Services Limited offer a versatile range of ANR upgrade kits for ALPHA helmets. The ANR offers approximately 12dB of extra attenuation whilst retaining the passive attenuation and fit of the original helmet. Systems are available with straight or coiled cables, aircraft powered or battery power (simply plug and play between the two) and even with BOSE aircraft power compatible plugs. The battery interface box can be fitted with any of the common aircraft plugs on coiled or straight cables. In the event of ANR power failure the system fails safe to standard communications. NIGHT VISION GOGGLES

ANVIS 6 and 9 goggles are approved for use with the ALPHA helmet. They are mounted on the rigid visor cover so the visors can still be used. There is also a dedicated version of the Alpha Eagle helmet for the FENNS goggles - this is a shell mounted NVG system - not interchanging with the ANVIS STANDARD. Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) are binocular devices that enhance unaided night vision for pilots. Typically, NVGs are mounted on a pilots helmet. This position enables pilots to look through the goggles outside the cockpit or under the goggles at flight instruments. By enabling the pilot to see in the dark, NVGs have the potential to improve the safety of visual flight at night. In most conditions, night vision goggles provide pilots with a significant increase in the quality of visual information compared with unaided night vision. They allow the pilot to see the horizon, objects, terrain and weather more easily. P/N and Price dependant on specification.
YELLOW VISOR UPGRADE FOR ALPHA HELMETS Headset Services Limited can now supply a yellow visor option for the ALPHA range of helmets. It is usually fitted to replace the clear visor on dual visor helmets or can be specified as the visor on a single visor helmet. The Yellow tint is excellent for use in cloudy conditions, enhances contrast in low light conditions, sharpens visual acuity and Reduces eye fatigue. Product Code: 2MP3113SP
GEL EARSEALS New and exclusively from Headset Services Limited, gel earseals upgrade for Alpha helmets. Dual ring gel earseal for comfort and improved sealing to head. Gel earseal upgrade will fit Mk3, MK4 and MK10B helmets with Tape on earseals. Will also fit later ALPHA helmets 200, 300, 400, 800 and 900 EAGLE with clip in earseals just use the plastic clip rings from your original foam earseals. Product Code: HSMP73821

EURO CEPS AND CUSTOM CEPS

Headset Services Ltd has been providing communications headsets and ear protection for many years. We are pleased to launch what we believe to be the ultimate method of providing clear communications in very high noise situations. CEP = Communication Ear Plug these can be either generic sized earplugs (Euro-CEP) or can be custom moulded to the user for the ultimate comfort and protection (Custom-CEP) Modifying your existing headset or helmet with a socket to accept the CEP system is an excellent way to upgrade your equipment to use the CEP system. The use of CEP type earplugs under existing ear protection or communication headsets or helmets will result in clear communications and maximum ear protection attainable in high noise environments. The attenuation from the CEP will be in addition to the attenuation from the headset or helmet. Both the Euro-CEP and the Custom-CEP are fully interchangeable so you can use generic earplugs for occasional users (change the ear tips for hygiene) or as spares when your CustomCEPS are being serviced or repaired. CEP come with the standard RCA PHONO plug fitted, but versions are available with the gold SMB plug (as per the USA CEP), 3.5mm walkman type plug or NEXUS U174/U (USA NATO plug) or even UK NATO plugs. We are also working on a fully waterproof version as well.
Attenuation Levels for Alpine Filters with Custom Silicon Earmoulds
SEARCH AND RESCUE ALPHA EAGLE Headset Services Limited supplies dedicated SAR versions of the Alpha Eagle with waterproof looms and connectors to fit the Polycon Radio System. The Polycon system provides a wireless communication link between the rescue crewmember and the SAR helicopter crew. The communication link is established by interfacing a transceiver, carried or worn by the rescue crewmember, with the aircrafts ICS/intercom system.
WATERPROOF HELMET LOOMS Helmet Waterproof looms or looms to customer specific requirements Headset Services Limited manufacture a range of high performance helmet loom upgrades for ALPHA and Gentex helmets, Waterproof looms with waterproof connectors are used for Search and Rescue (SAR) Winchman helmets and in conjunction the Polycon radio system to provide a completely waterproof communications system.
