    FP Series HEAT EXCHANGER

    FlatPlates FP Series is rugged and reliable representing the latest technology in high performance brazed plate heat exchangers. Designed for a wide range of applications including industrial process heating and cooling, shell/tube replacement, hydronic heating, boiler applications, domestic water heating, snow melt, and fluid to fluid applications.

    Simple Design
    The FP Series Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger consists of stainless steel plates with a special high efficient heat transfer surface. The plates are then copper brazed together at high temperature, allowing the heat exchanger to be leak tight and rugged. The FP Series differs significantly from other types of plate heat exchangers in that a wider range of applications, connection sizes, and features can be provided for single quantity units, and for high volume production. Because of this the FP Series is very cost effective for a wide range of applications.

    Compact
    Light weight and compact, the FP Series can be up to 50% to 80% smaller size than other types of heat exchangers. This allows for smaller equipment packages, simplified installation and lower shipping costs.

    High Efficiency
    Like all FlatPlate heat exchangers, the FP Series uses a highly efficient heat transfer surface with excellent turbulence, moderate to low pressure drops and lower fouling rates. Heat Transfer coefficients up to 1200 BTU/H/oF-sq ft for fluid to fluid applications are typical.

    Proven Performance
    FlatPlate heat exchanger designs have been tested for performance under a wide range of operating conditions. From this test data, all applications are computer modeled and selected for optimum performance. And all units are Helium leak tested for assured quality.
