ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT On School Beautification Program

S.Y. 2021-2022

I. INTRODUCTION

The country was suddenly shaken by the outbreak of Covid 19 pandemic that affected
the lives of the people especially the Education of the learners where face to face classes as
well as group gathering was strictly prohibited in order to contain the possible transmission of
the virus. A student’s academic and all round development is not just up to the school. The
parents need to be involved at every step to keep track of the progress their ward is making
over the academic year.
In response to the call to the program of the Deped “Let a million flower bloom in
school” and the School’s Beautification Contest, we ask the participation of parents and
stakeholders to prepare the school for reopening and provide opportunities for learning to
have end enjoys a child friendly school environment. This project will be of great help in
maintaining a good and conducive learning environment for the learners.

II. RATIONALE

As the Department of Education(DepEd) is bracing for an extra ordinarily challenging

school year due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. As we face this unpredicted time,
DepEd still affirms that education must continue so, face to face classes is opening up on
limited setup.
San Nicolas Elementary School with its Faculty and Staff headed by its School Head
Rowena P. Gabarda, work collaboratively to create a child friendly school and classroom
environment for preparation of limited face to face classes.

III. OBJECTIVES

1. Collaborate with parents and stakeholders in preparing the school for limited face to face.
2. Create a child friendly school and classroom environment.

IV. NARRATIVE REPORT

The school head Mrs. Rowena P. Gabarda called for a parent’s orientation to orient the
parents in the plans and preparations of the school for limited face to face. Included in the
orientation is the preparation of school ground and classrooms for the safe return of the
learners.
After the orientation, the teachers contacted the parents and ask for support in the said
activity. The parents responded to the call. Many of them came to school to do the cleaning,
trimming and painting. Some parents who were not able to come to help personally shared
responsibly by donating paints for the repainting of classroom, walls, roofs ceiling and garden.
We also received help from our stakeholders who donated materials for the project School
Beautification Contest.
After the judging of the Contest Kalahi building, my area was declared the First Placer in
the Most Improved Area in the School. I also got Forth place in the search for Best classroom
in primary category. We received a Certificate of recognition for this project.
