    Job Description

     Handles engineering works including materials take off, designs, man-hour


    estimates, costing, preparing construction schedule and preparing project cost
    summary.
     Analyze technical drawings and bid documents for Building Works (i.e.
    HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing Works), and Light & Heavy Industries (i.e.
    Mechanical Woks, Steel Structure, Piping, Painting/Insulations & Fire
    Proofing, Storage Tank and Pressure Vessels).
     Reviews and familiarize with tender document and attendance of pre bid
    conferences.
     Direct implementation of engineering standards and administrative policies,
    programs and procedure.
     Coordinates with the client relevant to technical specification and engineering
    matters that may be required.
     Performs quantity take-off and prepare bill of materials and cost estimates
    inclusive of overhead charges based on company standards.
     Prepares construction schedule based on estimated total man-hours through bar
    chart. Manpower and equipment loading.
     Coordinate with other groups/discipline like Field Operations Group for
    Rigging and Construction Planning, Purchasing Department for the sourcing of
    materials, Equipment Department for the availability of the equipment's
    required for the project.
     Evaluates suppliers and sub contractors quotation and inquiries and prepare
    cost analysis to come up for a possible winning bid and maintain directories of
    suppliers, contractors and sub contractors.
     Participate in the negotiation of project contracts as required.
