PROJECT ON RELATIONSHIPS

*INTRO:
All: Welcome to project of group 4
Duy Anh: Hello everyone, it’s an incredible honour for our group to stand here
and have a talk on relationships. To fulfill our qualities, the relationships play a
very crucial role. First, let’s us tell you about the most important bond in our
life, it’s Family Relationship.s

*FAMILY RELATIONSHIP
1, Definition:
Duy Anh: As you guys know, everyone has a family. So how can we define
family relationship?
Family relationships are usually related by blood, marriage, adoption or some
binding factor of commonality. Where individual roles and relationships modify
over time. It typically shares the living space for a long time. A family is the
first school in which we receive the basic values of life. Among variety of
relationships, as I mentioned, our family is the most important.
2, Types:
Nhi: There are many relationships in the family. Let’s start with Parents.
Parents play an essential part in our lives.
Moreover, there’re other people that you unconditionally, they’re your
Grandparents. Oftentimes children will listen to grandparents even when they
are not listening to their parents or other adults. Grandparents complete you and
fill your childhood with precious memories.
Before coming to the next part, I want to ask you a question -> Do you have any
siblings? Siblings are brothers or sisters. As you can see brotherly or sisterly
love is very dear and abiding.
The next family relationship is Relatives, including your aunts, uncles,
cousins... Living with those members may fulfil your personality but sometimes
quite annoying.
Bảo Anh: And the last family relationship we would like to mention is Spouse.
A spouse is a significant person in your life attaching to you by love and
marriage. After getting married, a couple stay together and those feelings help
to bond them together as husband and wife. Moreover, regularly sharing a cup
of tea or coffee can help marriage partners to keep in touch emotionally.
In the daily life, problems in families are unavoidable, right? Now Khánh Ly
will tell you some issues among family members.
3, Problems:
Khánh Ly: The first one is
 Problem 1: Generation gaps: A generation gap is a difference of opinions
between one generation and another regarding beliefs, politics, or values.
In today's usage, the generation gap often refers to a perceived gap
between younger people and their parents or grandparents.
Situation: Your parents decided to share the chores equally for all of the family
members: your parents, your older sister, and you - an 11th-grade boy but your
grandma didn’t see eye to eye with them. She thinks that women must be
responsible for all the housework. What would you if that happened in your
family?
Minh Trang: To solve this, you should explain to your mom that is inequality
for women and everyone has the right to do the household chores
Khánh Ly:
 Problem 2: Imposition: Parents (Grandparents) have a belief that they are
more erudite than their offspring so they try to impose their opinions and
decisions on children. Meanwhile, children, especially teenagers are in
the age of improving self-awareness and self-esteem so they want to do
everything on their own. Although the problems arise from parent’s
worries about their children, it unintentionally leads to quarrels, conflicts,
and distance between all of them.
Situation: You want to become a professional game programmer but your
parents don’t agree with your plan, especially your father. He is extremely
conservative, he finds everything related to games harmful and he expects you
to study law and go to the Bar.
Minh Trang: In this case, my advice is to show some reports about the gamer’s
income to convince the father and explain why “lawyer” is not the best job for
your future.
To conclude, we have listed some useful General solutions to maintain a happy
family.
Number 1: Keep communicating!
As we all know, communication is the key to break all kinds of limitations, and
the generation gap is no exception. Let’s communicate more, talk to your
parents, and try to understand the differences between two or even three
generations. Listening and accepting those thoughts are the most important
things to make everyone closer. After all, the little rain lays great dust, isn’t it?

Khánh Ly:
Number 2: Be sincere!
Is anyone in life who never lied? Of course not! And the sad reality is that... a
couple of families also cannot avoid it just because everyone has their ego.
Sometimes, we are afraid of making mistakes or disappointments, and parents
also have the fear of losing respect from their children.
Only by giving sincere will receive good things. If there are any struggling
times or you do not know how to solve those messes, instead of avoidance,
please honestly share with your family members to receive advice and resolve
together.
Minh Trang:
Number 3: Be more independent.
Have you ever thought about why your parents always worry about your future
and let themself have the right to decide your future yet? Maybe because they
are too conservative? Probably, but for me, the main reason starts with their
disbelief in children. For instance:
Bảo Anh:
- “How stupid! She even doesn’t know how to clean the dishes or how to
cook the meals! How can she survive from the disgusting world out
there?”
- “My boy’s performance at school is too bad… He does not know
anything, what a day-dream! He needs to wake up!”

Minh Thư: Are you familiar with all kinds of complainants like that? I bet the
answer is 100% “yes”!
So the solutions are…? Simple, let them trust you more by action. “Action is
louder than words”, let’s be more independent in everything. From small things
like housework (cooking, cleaning, washing,...) to your performance at school
and so on. Do not act like you are still a little kid who doesn’t know how to do
and what to do anymore! When you are mature enough and you get the trust of
your parents, then imposition is over and all conflicts will come to the end.
*FRIENDSHIP
1, Definition:
Minh Đức: As anyone who's ever been in a friendship knows, it's a complex
process and experience. Then what’s the definition of this relationship? Keep
your eyes fixed on the screen, as you can see:
“Friendship is a strong affection between 2 or more people based on similar
characteristics “
For example: character, hobbies, thoughts, etc.

What makes a good friendship?

First, be honest and trust each other. Trust is the foundation of a healthy
friendship. Second, be responsible for each other. Third, sympathy and
understanding for each other are also essential. You should also respect and
treat your friends on equal terms. And the last but not least, have a suitable idea
of life with your friends.
Minh Thư: There’s a famous saying that “Choosing a book to read is similar to
selecting friends to share”. To be more specific, Xuân will tell you about BAD
FRIENDS AND GOOD FRIENDS.
2, Bad & Good friends:
Xuân: A bad friend is the one who tells you it's not worth purchasing and won't
let you purchase it.
And a best friend is the one who tells you it isn't worth purchasing but still let
you buy or will buy it for you because you liked it.
It's easy to recognize a person who is bad or who is good because the quality is
like a mirror which shows everything about anyone. But we may realise others’
qualities late because some might represent themselves as they are good but
after spending time with them we get the idea who is better for us. So, a good
friend is like a bitter medicine, but beneficial for us. They tell everything truly
about you including your bad habits. They will be care for you and show great
concern about you. On the other hand, bad friends will not tell you anything and
even depend on you, disturb you all time and take advantage of you. They can
do everything to spoil your career and will never show much concern about
anything. “Don’t fear the enemies that attack you, but the fake friend who hugs
you”. So stay away from these kind of people and find better one who can trust
on you and on whom you can trust. The choice is yours.
3, Problems:
Nhàn: In a friendship, sometimes we have to deal with some unpleasant
circumstances, the first one is Friend has new friends: The two girls were good
friends until they got to high school. One met a new group of friends. Since
then, she often hangs out with them and has repeatedly turned down a date with
her previous friend. That friend feels the distance between them growing day by
day. What would you do if you were the one who is abandoned?
Solution: It’s really amazing when two strangers become best friends, but it’s
really sad when best friends become two strangers. In this situation, we should
be proactive. If you take the initiative and feel she is avoiding, I think you
should have a straightforward talk with her. Tell her your feelings, a good friend
will understand you. True friendship continues to grow even over the longest
distance.

Problem 2: Betrayal : The two friends grew up together. They have a strong
belief on each other. They often share their stories together and only give out
some private stories to each other. But one day, one of their secrets was
rumored throughout the school. What would you do if you were the one whose
secret was published and thought that your best friend was to blame?

Minh Đức: You should calm down and reconsider the whole story. Don't get
angry because your friendship can be broken. Have a frank conversation with
your friend. If she does it accidentally and feels sorry about that, try to forgive
her. But if she doesnot have any regrets, you should consider the friendship
because its foundation is trust (solution)

*ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP
1, Definition:
Thu Trang: Hi everyone, now let us tell you about romantic relationship, which
is also known as LOVE. Have you ever ask yourself ‘What is love?’ or ‘what
does it mean to you?’. I would say that ‘love’ is a very special and meaningful
word to each human being. According to Oxford Learners’ Dictionary, love is a
strong feeling of romantic attraction for somebody. Love is a deep feeling and
attachment between any two people, no matter who they are. Love means
knowing that no matter what, you have someone to count on. It’s unconditional
and makes you feel good on the inside. To conclude, LOVE IS A METAPHOR.
2, Good & Bad sides:
Như Ngọc: Love is a complex thing, but it's also quite simple. It does so many
things, but at the most basic level, love makes you feel good, happy, and
positive. Let's take a closer look at the bright side of this relationship.
Firstly, a true love does good for your HEALTH. Being in a romantic
relationship helps to relieve physical pain. A 2010 study found that when
college students put their hand on a heat block, they could withstand the heat
longer if shown a picture of their partner. What’s more, long-term relationships,
notably marriages, are like miracle drugs for heart health. In addition, people
falling in love, especially women, have lower stress and lower rates of
depression. As a result, love prolongs human’s life-span.
Thu Trang: Secondly, a romantic relationship has many precious MENTAL
VALUES. Love means finding someone that brings out the best version of
yourself and challenges you to be better. Love brings you interests, joy,
serenity, hope, inspiration and so on. With love, one may break his own limits
and do incredible things.
Như Ngọc: On the other hand, there’s no doubt that a loving relationship has
some undeniable dark sides. A blind love not only spoils your personality with
jealousy and selfishness but also waste your time and money. An over
relationship or an unresponsive love crushes your heart into pieces and fills your
head with sadness, anger and despair. In that situation, some people may
struggle with stress, consequently, leads to depression. Those tend to physically
hurt themselves or more seriously, they want to suicide.
In a nutshell, love has its ups and downs, and which side turns depends
on how we behave and maintain the relationship.

3, Confess love through stamps:
Mai Phương: In the US, there’s one kind of stamp called “love stamp”.
Moreover, each way of sticking stamps has its special meaning.
1, If the stamp is upside down, that means “I love you so much, do you love
me?”
2, The head of the stamp turns to the right show that the sender want to say: “I
would be very miserable if you left me”
3, But if you stick the stamp in the opposite direction, the meaning of that is:
“I’m looking forward to your coming to me”
4, Adjoin one stamp to another one means: ”Nice to meet you”
5, But just a smallest change like making a slit between the two stamps can
change the meaning to: “Nothing can split us”
Before coming to the next part, do you know a noun that implies the person who
you like? Yes, it’s “crush”. So Duy Anh, do you find this word interesting?
Duy Anh: Yes, definitely. The verbial form of “crush” means to break
something into fragments. Therefore, I think “crush” is the one that breaks your
heart because he does not like you.
Mai Phương: Thanks for your sad-but-true information. To protect 11D1’
hearts from being crushed, I would tell you some Flirty Art:
1, Love is a maze, but you are amazed!
2, You might fall from a mountain,
Or you might fall from a tree,
But the perfect way for you to fall,
Is to fall in love with me.
3, (play)
B: Hey you look rather tired, are you ok?
G: I stayed up late last night to practise for our presentation, I’m really sleepy
now.
B: Oh baby, why fall asleep when you can fall in love with me?
4, ABCDEFGH I love you will you marry me?
I crossed JKLMNOPQRST to reach U.
5, If your heart was a prison, I would like to be sentenced for life.
