    1) THE 4D SYSTEM

    Before starting any task, make a


    conscious decision and allot it into one
    of the 4Ds:

    1. Delete,
    2. Delegate,
    3. Do now or
    4. Defer.

    2) THE SWISS CHEESE
    METHOD

    Break up the task & start chipping at


    it bit by bit with small blocks of time.

    These small completed bits are “holes”


    in the cheese that will soon lead to the
    completion of the whole complex task.

    3) THE ABCDE METHOD

    Divide your tasks into the following:

    A: The most important task


    B: Less important tasks
    C: Tasks with no consequences
    D: Delegate
    E: Eliminate

    Each day, focus all your energies on:


    1 big task
    3 medium tasks and
    5 small tasks

    Plan your day accordingly.

    Focus on creating Habits & Doing

    Has the following steps:


    Collect: Brainstorm & note
    ideas/tasks out on a list
    Process: Review this list daily
    Plan: Pick a few high‑priority tasks
    for the week and the day
    Do: Schedule time to accomplish
    your tasks

    6) THE TRIAGE TECHNIQUE

    Divide your tasks into three different


    categories:

    Things that need immediate


    action,
    Things that are important but not
    urgent, and
    Things that are a waste of time

    7) THE POMODORO
    TECHNIQUE

    Work on a project for 25 minutes,


    followed by a 5 min break. Then sit
    down for another slot of 25 minutes.

    After 4 work periods of 25 minutes,


    take a longer 20-30 minute break.
