1.1 Introduction to licenses
This manual describes licenses which are required to use the functionalities of Network Elements (NEs) and interfaces. The
scope is to define licenses which allow to use the functions defined in AirScale BSC features.
2. How to read this excel report

The Excel report provides complete information on licenses. It shows the full set of license attributes, including information
about introduced changes.
The Excel report consists of one section - AirScale BSC Licenses List.
2.1 AirScale BSC Licenses List

This section presents complete measurement information including the following:
- Sales Item (SI)
- License Key Sales Item
- Description
- Feature ID
- Feature Availability
- SW Category
- Capacity Unit
- Additional Information
The AirScale BSC Licenses List has two types of licenses:

- Licenses for single features
- Licenses for package of multiple features
Licenses for a single feature allow you to use the functionality provided by one specific feature. Each license has its own
Sales Item (SI), License Key Sales Item, Description, Feature ID, Feature Availability, SW Category, Capacity Unit, and
Additional Information attributes.
A license for a package of multiple features is a single license that allows you to use the functionality of several features,
which are grouped in one license package. Each license package has one Sales Item (SI) and License Keys Sales Item
attributes for all features grouped in the license package. For each feature of the license package, has individual
Description, Feature ID, Feature Availability, SW Category, Capacity Unit, and Additional Information attributes. To check
which features are in the specific license package you must use unfold button (+).
