Description

2 Description 2.1 Structure of the ZF-Intarder

The ZF-Intarder is a wear-free operating, hydrodynamic


additional brake integrated into the transmission.
It contributes to a smoother and more economical driving PTO

3.1 Operating functions
With this operating position, you can keep your vehicle’s
velocity at a constant level during downhill travel.

3.2 Operation at low temperatures

4.3 Oil drain ! DANGER!

4.8.2 Draining residual coolant at heat exchanger

4.9 Bleeding the Intarder

Pressure differences are compensated for via the trans-


mission’s bleeder valve.

For this, please consult the respective chapter of the trans-


mission’s operating instructions.
