Complete a comprehensive and robust new venture plan for the effective
implementation of a practical entrepreneurial project relating either to:
NOTE: Ensure your idea have passed the Feasibility Check that you are familiar with and know.
Points to Note:
1. A comprehensive New Venture Template may be used to assist you to complete your plan.
2. Time period: It should cover at least the first two years of your new venture's life but can be for
up to five years. For example, if a long period of R&D is involved initially then two years may be
too short a time frame and three years may be better.
3. Length: About 23 pages should be provided. This is just a guide length.
4. The material presented should be comprehensive, relevant and concisely written.
5. Marks weighting for this part/piece of course work is 70%

In order to clarify the opportunity and prepare to write a venture plan, you have had to
complete a lot of ground work through research and analysis. In this module, so far you
have:
1. started thinking about developing an entrepreneurial team
2. found a new venture idea
3. given it a feasibility check
4. identified what resources will be required to get your new venture off the ground
5. identified how to access those resources and the costs involved
6. considered how you can further develop your own entrepreneurial potential and abilities
With confidence on your new venture potential, you are ready to embark on definitive
stage of this entrepreneurial journey, writing the new venture plan.
Individual report
In your individual report, compare the theory of Entrepreneurship with current practice.
Based on your organisation: critically analyse and evaluate organisational culture,
behaviour and relationships. Using examples, identify key areas (if any) for
improvement.
