The IP68 rating for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max was determined through
controlled laboratory testing in accordance with IEC standard 60529. Dust, water, and splash
resistance are not constant characteristics. Normal wear and tear could lead to a reduction in
resistance. For cleaning and drying procedures, consult the user manual before attempting to
charge a wet iPhone 14 Pro Max. Damage from liquids is not covered by the guarantee.
The display has rounded corners that fit inside a typical rectangle and have a lovely curved
shape. The diagonal measurements of the screen for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max

The iPhone 14 Pro Max does not support a physical SIM card and must be activated with an
eSIM. A carrier that accepts eSIMs and a wireless service plan is necessary for using an eSIM
(which may include restrictions on switching service providers and roaming, even after contract
expiration).
What is eSIM?
You can add or transfer a cellular plan to your iPhone utilizing eSIM technology without using a
physical SIM card. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Max models will ship with an eSIM
already activated. Take note that these models can't be activated with a real SIM.
A wireless service plan is necessary to use an eSIM. Not every carrier accepts eSIM. When
purchasing an iPhone 14 Pro Max case from various carriers, the use of the eSIM may be
disabled.
