A. Preparation
1. Greetings:

Eyelid is a thin fold of skin that covers and protects
an eye.

Eyeball is the round part of the eye of a vertebrate,


within the eyelids and socket.

Eyelashes - each of the short curved hairs growing on the edges of the eyelids,
serving to protect the eyes from dust particles

Pupils are the black center of the eye. Their


function is to let light in.

Lens is next to the pupil. It helps to focus the


light rays onto the back of the eye.

The retina is a thin layer of tissue that lines the


back of the eye on the inside. The purpose of the retina is to receive light that the
lens has focused, convert the light into neural signals, and send these signals on
to the brain for visual recognition

The optic nerve transmits all visual information including brightness


perception, color perception to the brain.
