on Prepare Dining Room/Restaurant Area for Service (AS).

The process of booking a seat in a restaurant entails a range of terms that can
be confusing to a diner and to the untrained service staff. The following are some
terminologies that may be helpful to both the person making the reservation and to
the recipient of the reservation request.
