present progressive (or present
continuous) describes:

1. activities happening at the


moment of speaking.
2. Temporary activities around the
moment of speaking).
3. Future arrangements.

We will pay a little more attention to


the time expressions associated with
each use.
What structure do we use to express the following ideas?
Present AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES:
Subject+ be + verb-ing + complement
