DEPARTMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND TECNOLOGY TAXILA
OPEN ENDED LAB
 LAB OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of this lab is to understand the concept of
parameters of two port network. Also to observe all the parameters of
Pspice.

 APPARATUS:
 Pspice installed on PC.
 Analogue libraries.

 THEORY:
Theory of this open ended lab is as follow: -

 PSPICE:
It is a circuit simulator and verification of mixed or variable signals.
Pspice is an acronym of personal simulation with integrated circuit
emphasis.
 TWO PART NETWORK:
This will define two-part electrical device with two separate parts
from input and output such networks are used in communication and
electronics.
 Parameter:
The various terms that relates these voltages and currents are called
parameters. There are four sets of parameters i.e.
 Impendence parameter (z)
 Admittance parameter (y)
 Hybrid parameter (h)
 Transmission parameter (T)

 Calculation:
The calculations of all parameter are as follow: -
 Impendence Parameter:
It is denoted by z parameter.

z=
[ z 11 z 12
z 21 z 22 ]
