Key Responsibilities in Project Management:


 Responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle including project feasibility study, FEED, ITT,
detail engineering, project monitoring, procurement, construction support, pre-commissioning
and commissioning activities etc.
 Established standard processes to obtain statutory approvals from PESO (Petroleum and
Explosives Safety Organisation) for construction & commissioning of projects
 Responsible for reviewing project bids from Detail Engineering contractors (DECs)
 Experience in engineering man-hours estimation based on the work scope & budget
 Negotiated with DECs to optimise the timelines for procuring Long Lead Items by identification of
bottlenecks for fast track projects
 Participated in projects during concept screening, feasibility study and detail planning for
management approval
 Coordinated and led the Kick off meeting (KOM) with concern stakeholders of the projects
 Provided timely resolution for various issues to achieve project milestones by proactively
collaborating with cross-functional teams

 Increased 10% refinery throughput by resolving CDU heater piping and pre-flash drum reliability
issues leading to substantial revenue generation
 Saved 5 days of refinery shutdown by implementing design change management processes and
utilizing in-house resources for timely execution of jobs in CDU, DCU & FCCU.
 Expedited the ordering process of exotic metallurgy hydro-treater reactor by optimising the
technical bid evaluation process resulting in saving of 50 days of pre-PO placement cycle
 Resolved problems at vendor shop which led to saving of 36 hours & additional cost of refinery’s
critical shutdown/turnaround by early project execution of column internals engineering and
procurement cycle
 Led the departmental team for completing in-house Engineering of 85 MOCs for 2nd Turnaround
(2021) of the refinery
