At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
a. explain how numerical expressions are written into scientific notation to standard
form and vice versa;
b. convert accurately the numbers in scientific notation to standard form and vice
versa; and
c. appreciate the importance of scientific notation in real life situations through
problem solving.
