07 - 08 September 2022
Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, UAE
EVENT OVERVIEW
In line with the sustainability and energy transition visions, the MENA region is set to become a global
leader of power diversification and conservation. The region is striving to meet its growing energy demands
caused by urban and industrial expansion.
The overall investment in the MENA power sector is expected to reach USD250 billion, characterized by an
accelerating shift towards renewables and clean energy resources. The region is expected to add nearly 20
GW of solar power only over the next five years – MENA Energy Outlook 2025-2021, APICORP.
In lights of this, MENA Power Projects Forum, taking place on 8-7 September 2022, Abu Dhabi, will gather
leading power sector stakeholders from government, finance, academia and the private sector to determine
the future of the region’s energy and discuss key issues in generation, transmission, distribution, and
conservation.
This is the first event of its kind to feature sector-specific project showcases, strategic and technical sessions,
and interactive networking sessions for industry experts keen on exploring the region’s energy potential
and how innovation can help in achieving their targets and thrive in the 4th industrial revolution.
