GENERAL INFORMATION

Exchange students have the opportunity to follow semesters of studies in French language, in semesters 7,
8 or 9 (Master’s level).
Semester 10 is dedicated to internship.
All the semesters are held twice a year. Incoming students can enter at the end of August or at the end of
January.
Double degree
As soon as a double degree agreement has been signed between ENIT and one of its partners,
students from this institution can follow a 4 semesters curriculum at ENIT at Master’s level.
To be eligible you must have completed at least four years of the educational programme at your
home university.
In order to be admitted, international students coming from non French-speaking countries must
justify a B2 level in French and a B1 level in English.
The aim of this exchange programme is to obtain one degree from each university.
European Project Semester

The E.P.S. is a 15-week industrial project that can be carried out by 3rd, 4th or 5th year engineering students

in the areas of : Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing engineering, Civil engineering, thermal engineering,
Informatics/networks engineering, Materials engineering, Robotics.
Small teams of 4-5 international students.

You may apply for a Research Initiation Project Semester in our lab.
You need to send us an CV and a motivation letter and your transcript of records
and then your request will be analyzed by our international coordinator.
A 30 ECTS credits semester.
USEFUL INFORMATION
Application process
The home university sends a nomination email and provides the information below for each student
nominated:
• NAME, SURNAME
• GENDER
• DATE OF BIRTH
• PERIOD OF EXCHANGE (1 semester, 1 full year…)
• PROGRAMME SELECTED (semesters taught in French or European Project Semester)
• FIELD OF STUDIES AND SCHOOL CURRICULUM
• STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS
Then the International Relations Office gets in touch with each student to complete his/her application.
If the application is validated by ENIT, an invitation letter is sent to the student.
A learning agreement will be signed by the home university, the student and ENIT.
Accommodation
ENIT’s International Relations Office help providing an accommodation (campus residence or shared
houses).

Visa process
Non-European students staying more than 90 days are asked to provide us a copy of their visa.
Depending on the type of their visa, students may have to pay an extra tax to validate their long-stay visa
within 3 months after their arrival in France.

Health care
European students are asked to provide us a copy of their European Health Insurance card.
Non-European citizens must register to the French general social security system. This is free of charge.
Subscribing a complementary health insurance is highly recommended. To learn more about health care

Insurance
Every student will be required to provide proof of housing insurance. You should know that housing
insurance includes third-party liability insurance, "assurance responsabilité civile", which is required for
enrollment at the university.
A “package” can be asked at the opening of a bank account: account + housing insurance including third-
part liability insurance.
