APPENDIX Creating A CSV File Creating A CSV using Excel Introduction
The Load Up web portal is for
businesses that cater to mobile phone reloading transactions for its customers where they can buy and send load. Load Up is able to send load to multiple numbers or contacts in a click of a button. Moreover, it also provides management tools that enables its users to track their transactions and manage their customer list. The Load Up Screen Map The Load Up Dashboard Notifications Creating a Load Up Account Accessing the Load Up web application starts with the creation of an account in it. To do this, perform the following: 1. Go to https://www.loadup.com.ph to open Load Up. In its Login page, click “Sign Up”. 2. In the Sign Up page, enter the details on this account. 3. With the required details entered, click SIGN UP. 4. Check the SMS verification sent to the registered phone and take note of the One-Time Password (OTP) provided in this (e.g. 543781 ). Enter this OTP in the VERIFICATION screen textbox, then click VERIFY. Upon doing so, Load Up opens. With this an account has now been created for this new user. NOTE: In order to use Load Up to send load, you must have an available top- up amount in your account wallet. Check out the following discussion on how to fill this up. Getting Started on the Dashboard Upon creating a Load Up account, you will be directed to the dashboard. Load Up provides a guide for first time users for them to get started right away. To access this, perform the following: 1. Click the GET STARTED button. 2. This brings up the GET STARTED screen at the bottom part of the screen. It shows 3 easy steps to take in using Load Up for the first time. To start using Load Up, click the TOP UP button. This runs the Top Up process to fill in your Load Up wallet. Read the topic Top Up Load Up Wallet for details. 3. With your Load Up Wallet already funded, go back to the GET STARTED screen and click the GO TO CONTACTS button. In the Add New Contact screen that opens, enter the recipients for loading. You may refer to the topic Entering Contacts for details. 4. After entering your contacts in Load Up, you can now send load to your contacts. To do this, go back to the GET STARTED screen and click GO TO CAMPAIGNS button. Follow the steps provided in the topic Sending Load. Top-up your Wallet Before sending out load, the user is required to top up their Load Up wallet. Top Up amount is a digital cash used in Globe to obtain/purchase load promos to send to clients upon requests. To top-up the wallet, do the following: 1. Click the TOP UP button. 2. In the Top Up screen, specify the top up amount. 3. In the same screen, select the payment type (GCash) to use for this transaction. 4. Click Submit. 5. In the GCash dialog that will show, enter in the registered GCash mobile number. 6. Click Next. 7. Check the SMS message sent to the registered mobile phone number. Enter the received OTP (One-Time Password) at the prompt provided in the next dialog. 8. Click Next to finish this process. A message “TOP UP SUCCESS” will then show indicating the success of this process. Just click outside of the dialog to go back to the main screen. Entering Contacts To enter contacts individually in Load Up, do the following: 1. Click CONTACTS from the menu. 2. In the Contacts screen, click the CONTACTS tab. 3. In the screen that appears, provide the following details: • Mobile Number of the contact to add. • Full Name of this new contact. • Group to affiliate this contact 4. After entering these details, click the Add Contact button. The previously entered contact will right away appear on the contacts pane at the right. Entering Contacts by Batch Another way of adding contacts in Load Up is by entering multiple contacts by uploading a CSV file. NOTE: To perform this procedure, there should already be a contacts CSV file made for this. See the topic “Creating A CSV File” in the Appendix for further details.
To enter contacts by batch, perform these steps:
1. Click Contacts on the menu. 2. In the Contacts screen click the CONTACTS tab. 3. In the Add New Contact screen, click the Upload CSV prompt. 4. In the file specification screen that opens, select the CSV file to upload. 5. Click the Open button to execute the file upload. 6. With CSV file already specified in this setup, click the Add Contact button.

Take note of the record structure of the CSV file to use
in Load Up. Check the image below: Creating a Group of Contacts Mobile loading is much easily conducted if the target clients are set into groups. Since instead of selecting them individually, we will just specify the group upon which the clients are affiliated into in assigning them for mobile loading. Group of contacts are entered in the following manner: 1. Click CONTACTS in the menu. 2. In the next screen, click the GROUPS tab. 3. In the Add New Group pane, enter the Group Name. 4. To associate contacts to upload directly to this new group, click the Upload CSV link. 5. In the file specification dialogue that shows, select the CSV file (e.g. LoadUpSample.csv) to load for this group. 6. Click the Open button to proceed with the upload. 7. Going back in the Add New Group pane, click Add Group to enter this new group. 8. A confirmation window will then show to indicate the success of this process. NOTE: To perform this procedure, there should already be a contacts CSV file made for this. See the topic “Creating A CSV File” in the Appendix for further details. Editing a Group of Contacts To edit contacts in a group perform the following: 1. Click CONTACTS in the menu. 2. I n t h e C O N T A C T S s c r e e n , c l i c k GROUPS. 3. In the GROUPS screen, click the Edit icon corresponding to the group to edit. 4. In the dialog that shows, take note of the following: • To change the group’s name, just click the group’s title (Premium Clients) then you may start editing this. • To add contact(s) to the group, click the contacts to add in the All Contacts pane then click the Add (+) icon • To remove contact(s) from the group, click the contacts to remove in the groups (Premium Clients) pane then click the Remove (-) icon. 5. Having made the necessary changes in this group, click the SAVE button. Sending Load Now that you have all the necessary prerequisites in sending loads (enough wallet credits, and target contacts), you can then proceed to do this.
Perform the following steps to send loads:
1. Click CAMPAIGNS from the menu. 2. To initiate sending of loads click the NEW CAMPAIGN button. 3. In the dialog that opens, indicate the following: • Campaign Name (3) • Contact or Group (4) • SKU to send (5) 6. Click SEND NOW when done. Sending Scheduled Load You can send pre-posted load to contacts to be activated on a set date and time using Load Up. Here’s how to do this: 1. Click CAMPAIGNS from the menu. 2. To initiate sending of loads click the NEW CAMPAIGN button. 3. In the dialog that opens, indicate the following: • Campaign Name (3) • Contact or Group (4) • SKU to send (5) 6. Toggle on the Scheduled switch by clicking it. Indicate in this settings the Start Date/Time, End Date/Time and Frequency. 7. Click SEND NOW when done. View Transaction History To view your reloading transactions, go to the Transaction History screen: 1. Click TRANSACTIONS from the menu. 2. In the next screen, click the LOAD UP HISTORY tab. 3. By default, the listing is showing the transactions made on the current date. To change this view, click the calendar icon and indicate on the dialogue that appears the start and end date to show transactions; or click on the search icon and indicate the date of the transaction to view. 4. To view the details of a certain reloading transaction, just click the View (magnifier) icon corresponding to the transaction. 5. This will show the details of the selected campaign together with its beneficiaries. To obtain these data for the purpose of documentation, click on the Export button. View Top Up History To track top up load requests made, go to the Top Up History screen. 1. Click TRANSACTIONS from the menu. 2. In the next screen, click the TOP UP HISTORY tab. 3. By default the listing just show the transactions made from the current date. To change this, click the calendar icon and indicate on the dialogue that appears the start and end date to show transactions. 4. To download this list, click the Export button. In doing so, a CSV file will be generated. Creating Sub-Users You may assign other persons to manage your Load Up account through the Sub- Users feature: 1. Click USER ACCESS from the menu. 2. In the next screen, click the NEW USER button. 3. In the Add New User dialog that opens, indicate the following: • First Name • Last Name • Mobile No. • Email Address • To indicate the screens to allow for this sub-user, click Portal Access and tick the screens. 4. Click SUBMIT when done. 5. A prompt indicating the success of the process will then appear. Just click OKAY to continue. 6. Your sub-user can now log in to your Load Up account his nominated mobile number Track System Accesses
You can track all sub-users’ activities
through the Audit Trail tool.
To use this do the following:
1. Click AUDIT TRAIL from the menu. 2. By default, the listing is showing the transactions made on the current date. To change this view, click the calendar icon and indicate in the dialogue that appears the start and end date to show transactions; or click on the search icon and indicate the date of the transaction to view. 3. To download this list, click the Export button. In doing so a CSV file will be generated. Appendix Creating a CSV File A CSV File (or Comma Separated Values File) is a data file containing values that are separated with commas. CSV files are being commonly used data files right now due to its compact size and adaptability in use to other systems or software. CREATING A CSV FILE USING NOTEPAD CSV files are basically ASCII text files with data formatted by comma separators. So normally, we could create a CSV file using Notepad. To create a CSV file using Notepad, do the following: 1. In the desktop screen, click the Search icon on the taskbar. 2. Enter “Notepad” in the Windows Search. 3. Click the Notepad application. 4. In the Notepad utility, enter the data to process by entering the values separated by commas. 5. When done, click Save (or press Ctrl-S) and name this file using this format: <name>.CSV (e.g. Contacts.CSV) 6. Click Save to finish the process. Creating a CSV File using Excel To create a CSV file using Excel, perform the following: 1. In the desktop screen, click the Search icon on the taskbar. 2. Enter “Excel” in the Windows Search textbox. 3. Then click the Excel program as it appears. 4. In the Excel application, enter the values and start your entry from the first row and column. When done populating your CSV file with data, click Save (or press Ctrl-S). 5. In the file specification dialogue that shows, enter the Filename as you prefer and selecting CSV (Comma Delimited) in the Save as Type. 6. Click the Save button when done.
NOTE: Don’t forget to indicate the Save as Type as
“CSV (Comma Delimited)” as this determines that this file will be saved as a CSV file. End
