something that I am passionate about and something that I am deeply committed to, I would like to be involved with something that truly connects me and provides a platform for advocating on behalf of all animals. volunteer-based, non-government organization whose goal is to prevent animal cruelty I have noticed millions of stray cats and dogs that roamed the streets of the Philippines The current issue that we are facing due to this are damage property, particularly gardens, with their fences; and litter the streets by overturning dustbins, which according to my research increases the risk of disease and encourages rat, and attacking people. Large populations of stray dogs and cats are public health concerns. Dog bites, rabies, leptospirosis, cat scratch fever. Overpopulation, cruelty and neglection. the PAWS Animal Rehabilitation Center cares for around 300 dogs and cats rescued from cruelty or neglect. Not just cats and dogs but animal like as mice, rats, dogs, cats, rabbits, monkeys, birds, among others – are killed in laboratory experiments for chemical, drug, food, and cosmetics testing every year. To be honest, The Commission and responsibility for animals (CARA)’s advocating for” Adopt, don’t shop” has inspired me. It made me think that these issues calls for action. The most urgent actions that society collectively needs to do to address this issue. My first solution is to educate the Filipino people sharing important information for them to understand how serious the issue is and hopefully encourage them to be a part of change. I have visited the “paws” website and navigate to “volunteers” and it surprise me that they will be open for volunteers and will be accepting application for participant soon. And for me would be a great opportunity to be part of it in the future though the application for volunteers is currently closed I could think of any possible way to be part of it by sharing their posts on social media and by donating. I also participated in a petition to make companies stop experimenting on animals and for people to stop torturing and abusing animals. Animal such as mice, rats, dogs, cats, rabbits, monkeys, birds, among others – are killed in laboratory experiments worldwide for chemical, drug, food, and cosmetics testing every year however, I am looking forward by taking action against animal cruelty the least of things we could do, this type of petition is for everyone and it doesn’t cost any money and could save lives of innocent animals in the Philippines
