Introduction Animal cruelty is a pressing issue that transcend cultures, social and economic boundaries. It is a violation of the inherent rights of animals of societal disregard for living beings. This concept aims to explore the multifaceted nature of animal cruelty, its impact on both animals and human, and the urgent need for compassionate action to address this pressing concern. 22/08/22 · Week 6 Term 3 Purpose This concept paper aims to spread awareness and educate people about animal cruelty and its impact on both animals and society. The paper will also highlight the significance of addressing animal cruelty in ethical, environmental, and health-related implications. Additionally, it may also propose potential solutions such as law changes, public education campaigns, or animal welfare programs that can help to spread awareness and enhance their knowledge about this Purpose This paper also aims to seek motivation and support from stakeholders—such as policymakers, organizations related to animals—this includes the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), the Animal Welfare Coalition (AWC), the Philippine Animal Hospital Association (PAHA), the Pawssion Project, and the general public—to take action against animal cruelty. Lastly, this paper can serve as additional knowledge and a foundation for further research, identifying gaps in current Description This project will organize a seminar about the animal cruelty and encourage them to actively participate to prevent it. Description They engage in rescuing and rehabilitating abused and abandoned animals, advocating for humane treatment, and conducting educational programs on responsible pet ownership. Their collective efforts aim to raise awareness about animal rights, improve veterinary care, and foster a compassionate community that actively supports animal welfare initiatives throughout the country.
