Describe the scene and atmosphere when you visit a theme park, fairground or carnival.

The sweltering heat of the sun was burning my skin, but the cool sea breeze combated it. The
pink cotton candy looked as fluffy as the clouds migrating above, and the aroma of the deep
fried corn dogs and chicken tenders hypnotized me. The skies slowly transformed from night to
day, blue to orange and then black. It was exquisite. Slowly as the sun set and the lights turned
on, more and more people came to the carnival. Children running around, couples on the ferris
wheel, and most importantly, The carnival game hosts smirking as they know we cant beat their
game.

I walked barefoot across the pier right after nose diving into the cold blue ocean. I watched as
the moon shined its bright light and reflected off of the sea, creating glimmers of light that were
almost blinding. I was accompanied by my comrades. We ate stale old popcorn as we walked
around, trying to find a fun game to play. Instead, we found ourselves on the ferris wheel,
looking at the pale blue world from up above. Everything seemed so small, that was until we
slowly descended.

Next we went to get some fresh corn dogs, as they had just taken out the searing hot oil.
Famished, we dug into the corn dogs. The heat burned my mouth, I could barely feel or taste
anything after that. But I was so hungry I just continued to eat. My friend took us to a game, the
goal was to knock down the cans with only 3 shots. I picked up the solid baseball, gripped with
my full strength (I could practically hear the leather compress) aimed for the centre and threw
with all my might. I saw the ball soar through the air and knock down all the cans with one shot!
That was definitely a new record. In return, I got a 5 foot tall stuffed panda for my little sister. It
was so soft and silky, It felt like hugging a giant marshmallow and my face sinking in it.

I walked home barefoot after losing my slippers at the beach. I felt the cold tarmac against my
feet, and just wanted to get home fast before it started raining cats and dogs. I eventually got
home with the giant panda, and handed it to my little sister, it was so big she almost fell over.
She tried climbing the stairs with it but kept falling, so I gave her a helping hand. She tucked
herself into bed with the giant panda and hugged it as she fell asleep.
