    Why does the PU 8008/1 look different to the original part?

    Two different fuel filters can be installed in vehicle applications for VW and Audi: the OES filter and the
    MANN-FILTER spare part PU 8008/1 (replaced the PU 8008). When you look at the fuel filters, however,
    you realise that they are visually very different.

    How do the fuel filters differ?


    The two filters are different sizes. The MANN-FILTER spare part PU 8008/1 is – despite the difference in
    size – the correct spare part for this OES filter.

    Does the smaller MANN-FILTER fuel filter affect the same performance?
    As an ultra-efficient filter medium is used, the MANN-FILTER will perform as efficiently even with the
    smaller design.
