DIY LAB REPORT

TINKERCAD AND ARDUINO MODULE

NAME: TOKO YANI

ROLL NO: 22AG10050
SECTION: 3
GROUP ID: 2
ABSTRACT

This week in the DIY lab I have

been assigned to create a circuit similar
to a traffic light setup and to make
super mario sounds using Tinker CAD
and Arduino IDE.

For creating the traffic lights

circuit, first I designed the circuit in the
tinker CAD. After that I added the code
blocks to make the circuit simulation
work accordingly and then extracted
the code from there and saved it. Then
I created the circuit manually by using
various components like Arduino UNO,
breadboard, wires, LED lights, resistors
etc. after joining everything properly I
connected the Arduino to my laptop.
then I ran the codes in the Arduino IDE
and made the traffic light work.

For creating the super mario

sound, first I designed the circuit in the
tinker CAD. Then I put in the codes to
make the super mario sound effects.
After that we made the circuits using
physical components that include
Arduino UNO, piezo speaker,
potentiometer, resistor and
oscilloscope, joined them properly and
using the cable connected the Arduino
UNO to the laptop. Then we ran our
code in the Arduino IDE and made it
work successfully.
TINKER CAD:

Tinker CAD is a free of charge online

program that can be used to make
virtual circuits using electronics like
Arduino UNO, breadboard,
oscilloscope, piezo disc and many
others. It can also be used to write
down the code using simple and easy
to understand blocks.

ARDUINO UNO:

Arduino UNO is a low cost,

flexible and easy to use open-source
microcontroller board that can be used
to make various circuits and
applications. An Arduino UNO board
can be used for programming robots,
to operate headphones and smart
electrical appliances, data logging and
networking, and in many other fields.
IMPORTANCE OF ARDUINO UNO BOARDS:

- As it uses simplified version of C/C++

language, Arduinos can be used even
by beginners with no prior knowledge.
- Arduino board is available at low cost
and its development tool IDE is free
available on the internet.
- Arduino UNO is available across
multiple platforms like windows, Linux,
and macOS. Most microcontrollers can
only be programmed using windows.
- Many Arduino libraries provide the
users freedom and ease in
manipulating data.
PARTS OF AN ARDUINO UNO BOARD:
ARDUINO MODULE FOR TRAFFIC LIGHTS
OBJECTIVE:
To create a circuit similar to a traffic lights
setup by programming an Arduino board.

CIRCUITS REQUIRED:
- Arduino UNO
- Breadboard
- Resistor
- LED: red, yellow, green and blue each
- Multimeter
- Breadboard connector
ARDUINO MODULE FOR SUPER MARIO
SOUND EFFECTS
OBJECTIVE: To programme the Arduino
to make super mario sound effects with
help of a piezo disc.
