SYNOPSIS
TOPIC- A project to develop social media website using

different Web Technologies.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE- The main objective of the
website is to make people share their posts, interact, like and
comment on different posts, upload their details and profile
pictures accordingly.
METHODOLOGY-
 Login or create account is done on home page which further
provides different options for users to do.
 Editing, adding and updating of profile can be done which
results in proper management of data.
 localStorage property of JavaScript is used in the project to
store the details for future use.
SUMMARY-
This website creation project basically fulfills the basic needs of
people to interact, share their thoughts and their life happenings. It
is a basic version of what we call a social media platform or sites.

1.1. Introduction to social media
Social media website or application is to do social

interaction between a huge group of people through some
kind of network. In common widely used network is the
Internet. But social media platforms are also for local
networks as well. Social media is growing fast and
becoming an essential part of everyone’s life, because of
the latest technological trends revolution. When it is used
rightly, social media can be a valuable add to a
department's communications strategy and helps people
grow fast. Because many people have expressed an interest
in developing and maintaining a social media presence in
personal and professional capacities.

I have studied a lot of literature review for this project

report and come up with many ideas. I framed a lot of ideas
from many other project reports and implemented in this
project. Many of other projects have their own merits and
de-merits and so my project will also have some pros as
well as some cons. I have noted many ideas from other
projects and implemented some of my ideas also. The result
of the combination of yours and others idea always make a
perfect combo and so the result of this project is also good
enough. Many of the others have implemented half of the
project and some have implemented a decent amount of
work and their result is good enough to showcase their
knowledge in this field. I have learned a lot from others
work and implemented it in my own project and enjoyed a
lot in the working time.

and it improves day by day. Here developers always try to
improve their skills and try to become better in every
aspect. We have come across various topics and ideas and
used them in this project. We have got the knowledge of
HTML5, CSS3, JAVASCRIPT and React.js. The project is
a react based project which makes users life easy and helps
every individual share his/ her idea with the world by
posting status, likes, comment and share. This social media
application is the medium to express your thought and
feelings with other person. We have developed it for the
betterment of the users and added various pages like home,
login, sign-up, post and update profile. A project
application always needs an improvement and so the same
apply with this project.
