Adding Colour Information to LiDAR using Camera Calibration ‡ May’22 - Jul’22

• Worked to resolve one of the fundamental problems of localisation or calibration between the different kind of sensors available.
• Worked on research problem to add color to the 3D models using LiDAR-Camera Calibration since LiDAR lacks colour & texture.
• Learned about LiDAR-Camera Calibration and how to undistort images with the use of numerous set of tools like Open CV.
• Combined the 3D point cloud of LiDAR with the 2D camera image to create a 3D LiDAR model with colour information in it.
Computer Vision Applications in Transportation Engineering | Society Of Civil Engineers, IIT Kanpur ‡ Jul’22 - Present
• Implemented the logistic regression model from scratch in order to perform binary classification between the crack and non-crack.
• Evaluated the accuracy by using the F1 score of training, validation, and test dataset, plotted relation between loss and epotchs.
• Utilised OpenCV for processing of the images and built Custom Trackbars for manipulating the different attributes of the images.
• Used OpenCV to detect and track moving automobiles throughout a variety of videos within a given Region of Interest (ROI).
• Built different Deep Learning Architectures like ANNs and CNNs for Traffic Signs Classification and compared these architectures.

• Developed the website’s user interface and user experience using Canva which served as a reference while developing the website.
• Collaborated with a team of 6 members to develop a site using HTML, CSS in the frontend and Javascript, Node.js for backend.

CAD Fusion 360 | SnT Project’21, Aeromodelling Club, SnT Council, IIT Kanpur ‡ June’21 - August’21
• Acquired knowledge of Fusion 360 software and its Workspaces - Design, Animation, Simulation, Drawing, & Generative Design.
• Developed 2D and 3D designs of various mechanical components used in manufacturing processes and learned to assemble them.
• Learned how to use several Fusion 360 capabilities to create certain essential aeroplane parts, such as wings, fuselage, fins, etc.
• Successfully used Fusion 360 software to run static stress simulations on the designed models with imposed loads and limitations.
