First off all, I’d like to thank the Almighty God. It is because of Him we are all able to
attend this contest.

Secondly, may Sholawat and Salam always be delivered to our Prophet Muhammad
SAW who had brought us from the darkness to the bright modern era that we live in
today.

And last but not least, I’d like to thank the judges for giving me this very special
opportunity to complete in this contest.

I’m standing here would like to talk a little about the important of library in education.

Education plays a very important role in everyone’s life. It is very necessary to live a
great and better life, for that it is very important to get a proper education. Education
doesn’t just mean learning in class with whole subjects. Not only learning in
elementary school to university. Actually, to be educated people, we can get
knowledge from everywhere. The interesting one, there is a place that can give you
knowledge. What is that? Could everyone here guess it? That place is library.

Do you believe in the power and potential of libraries to change people’s life?
Libraries, at their best enable social mobility. Library is here for everyone and library
exists to encourage you to develop your ideas, your imagination, and your creativity.
Libraries are safe and welcoming place in a world that’s increasingly divided. Library
is a home of books, a peace and quiet place for reading, studying, or even working.
In their existence, library plays important role in every aspect in our life. One of them
is in education aspect.

Talking about the roles of libraries which being played in education and lifelong
learning process, here I would mention it to you some of them. Those are:

1. Libraries provide a lifelong learning process for the community members and
assist them in their difficult task/ Assignment.
2. Libraries provide leadership and expertise by using information and its
affiliation technology, which plays a role in teaching and learning process.
3. The libraries provide equal opportunity for all readers regarding information
and ideas which are affiliated with some educational institutes as well to
public library unimpeded by culture, caste, creed and social constraints.
4. Libraries prepare individually to prove himself as a responsible citizen in
contemporary society. In short Education and libraries are interdependent on
each other Education without libraries and libraries without education are
paralyzed.
By coming to the library, sit in and observe what’s going on. We can see the
students revising their exams, see the freelancer running his business, and see the
online teachers giving the lesson. From these kinds of individual activities which
happen in the library, everyone should know that it’s not just activities but it’s about
the combination of the different activities from the different people that give library its
life and its energy.

By knowing the roles of library in education it’s very important to introduce it to our
children, brothers, sisters, and friends. When we introduce everyone to the library,
make that visit a positive experience. Some libraries offer a large variety of learning
materials to check out as well as scheduled group activities for young patrons. It can
help the people or even the children to visit libraries even more.

That’s all from me. My biggest hope is you all can learn something new from it. I do

Before I go further, let’s begin with saying to the almighty GOD Allah Swt. Who has
given us the best mercy and blessing so we can live in a good condition and spread
all the kindness to others.

In addition, peace and salutation to our best leader ever Muhammad Saw. Who has
guided us from the darkness to the brightness era namely islam.

And I don’t forget to say thank you to all of the commitee staff who has given me a
little change to speak about “the sustainable of Tuban tourism”

Being a beautiful city, Tuban has many wonderful spots to be visited by tourist either
local or international. It attracts tourists from everywhere by providing them a unique
tourism experience in order to cherish the unforgettable moments for the upcoming
years. The unique culture and geography have made Tuban, one of a prominent
tourist destination in Indonesia. With perfect tourism potential, the city has copious
tourist’s attractions, which captivate almost all sorts of tourists from over the country.

Tuban offers the tourist to visit beach, we have many beaches in our city, don’t we?
As a city located on the Pantura Line, we have many beautiful beaches with white
and clean sand, the sea with calm waves. It is perfect for swimming for children to
adults. It’s not dangerous at all. Or even for millennial or gen z, it can be a place to
take a picture, to make OOTD and upload it to instagram. Not only beach, but
Tuban also offers the tourist to enjoy the nature tourism such as waterfall, we have
nglirip waterfall, hill we have tanah zawi in montong, we have agropark klumpit in
soko. And et cetera.

Like I mentioned before about nature tourism, not only about that Tuban is very
famous with “Tuban Bumi Wali”. This sector, in my opinion is able to contribute a lot
of tourists from various cities in Indonesia. In certain months, we usually find tourists
in Sunang Bonang, in Asmoroqondi, and in Sunan Bejagung. Their main place to be
visited is of course sunan bonang but after visiting it they will visit other attractive
places in Tuban such as Kelapa beach because it’s one way to Asmoroqondi or
visiting Boom beach because is near to Sunan Bonang.

After knowing the potential of our city in tourism aspect, another important point is
the sustainable of tourism in Tuban. What can we do as locals to support sustainable
tourism so that Tuban is increasingly developed as a tourist city in Indonesia?
Sustainable tourism can be developed and supported by the government and locals
and even ourselves. Then, let’s find out what the act of it to support the sustainable
of tourism in Tuban?

First is the government. The government is as a decision maker and policy maker.
The policy is a policy that is able to protect its, territory, policies in the economic, and
policies in tourism planning. The government can be a protector and a supervisor.

The second is the locals. Local community participation is one of the core elements
of tourism development because it is inmost to the sustainability of tourism industry.
Involvement of local community has substantial value in tourism for locals, their
lifestyle and environmental, cultural and traditional factors; which are the main
attraction in tourism. Active participation of community in tourism ensures the
enrichment of tourism experience as well.

Last but not least is the role of us as millennial. Before that, let me ask you. What do
you bring if you go travelling? Do you bring any food? I hope you don’t, because one
of the part of the sustainable tourism concept is eating local food to support local
business. So, if you come and buy some local keys there at the destination and you
will be socializing with the locals you will also increase its social interaction between
you as tourists.

We aren't nothing, we are something to make it happen so don't make what volte
