    Firmware Update

    Step 1 - Download the Firmware from Panasonic’s Extranet (service.panasonic.ca or techlibrary.panasonic.ca), and save it to your PC.

    Step 2 - Log in to your NS700/1000.

    Step 3 - Go to the screen: Maintenance \ System Control \ Program Update \ Download Program File \ Manual.

    *** If uploading firmware for Legacy Equipment (devices on a TDE/NCP),


    please ensure that the file name is written in the correct format (in Caps) ***

    Step 4 - Browse to the downloaded Firmware Files.


    Please note that you can download multiple types of firmware to the NS1000/700.
    For example, the firmware for the PBX itself, firmware for IP phones, firmware for IP cell station, firmware for physical cards, etc.

    Step 5 - Click “Execute” when you have downloaded all the firmware files that you wish to the PBX.

    Step 6 - Go to the screen: Maintenance \ System Control \ Program Update \ Update Program File.

    If configured in a One-Look network,


    the other sites will appear here.

    All the firmware files


    downloaded to the PBX
    will appear here.

    The PBX and all registered devices,


    with their current firmware version,
    will appear here.

    Step 7 - Select the devices you wish to update. Select “Immediately” or “Timed Update”. Click Apply and click Execute.

    If configured in a One-Look network,


    the NS1000/700s at each site
    must be at the same level of firmware.

    Please click the “Confirm” button and/or


    “Check” all Main Units at each site.

    Please note that after the completion of the Firmware Upgrade, All sites will reboot.

    Depending on the amount of devices to be updated, it could take more than 15 minutes.

    A maximum of 32 NT-series phones can be updated at the same time.

    During the firmware update process of the NS1000/700, During the firmware update process of the IP-PTs,
    you will be automatically logged out of the PBX. the display will read the following:

    DO NOT POWER OFF !!!


    Write Flash Memory ...

    The Firmware Version can be viewed on the display


    during the boot up sequence, or in the Web-MC.

    Step 8 - Verify that all devices selected, were updated.
