1 Introduction
BP Berau Ltd, hereinafter referred as COMPANY, is currently operating offshore gas platforms
and onshore LNG plant known as Tangguh in the Birds Head region of West Papua, Indonesia.
The first phase of Tangguh development was sanctioned on March 2005 and includes a two-train,
7.6 MTPA onshore LNG plant, two offshore platforms namely VRA and VRB and the associated
subsea pipelines and wells with initial capacity of approximately 1.4 BCFD.
Loading/Offloading Facilities
New Diesel
Tank Location
New Condensate
Tank Location
To meet the condensate storage requirements of the Tangguh facilities for LNG Train 1 and 2 as
well as consideration for future trains, a new Condensate Storage Tank and its associated
systems are being proposed. The new Condensate Storage Tank (076-TK-1004) is designed to
receive, store and transfer stabilized condensate to the ship loading facility at the Combo Dock.
Condensate comes from the existing Condensate Stabilizers in Unit 011 and the Debutanizer
bottoms from the process Train 1 and 2. With two tanks, one tank can be dedicated for loading to
the ship whilst filling condensate product into another tank. All condensate produced at Tangguh
LNG facilities will be exported via the condensate ship loading facility at Combo Dock.
To meet the long term diesel fuel demand of Tangguh facilities for LNG Train 1 and 2, a new
Diesel Storage Tank and its associated diesel loading and unloading facilities are being proposed.
The new Diesel Tank (077-TK-1002) is designed to receive, store and distribute diesel oil from the
ship tanker to the new and existing users Tank. Diesel will be utilized for Emergency Diesel-
engine-driven Generators (EDG), diesel engines for critical rotating equipment, and for vehicles'
fuel or other transportations required by Tangguh facilities. Diesel fuel will be supplied from the
nearest Pertamina UPPDN VII located in Sorong, West Papua. Ship tankers will be utilized to
transport the diesel fuel from Sorong to Tangguh LNG plant in the future.
1.1 Objective
The objective of the Vendor Training Plan is to manage vendor required & schedule for
training activities as per verbal & demonstratively that will be delivered on commissioning
activities by the Vendor Authorities. Also it is a management control system to operate the
equipment, Inspection and Maintenance, Emergency Response and any other technical.
The Vendor Training Plan consists of several integrated components which link together to
provide a cohesive system of integrity assurance.
These components include:
x Equipments.
x Discipline of Mechanical, Electric & Instrument.
Identification of the key personnel involved in the training plan will be decided by BP
Operation Manager.
