NAME MALAY

Anjenique Nikita Nikita can use picture prompts to help her recognise words. Nikitha needs
Tomlinson encouragement to write more. Nikitha needs to listen more carefully to
instructions.  Which will help to Nikita to stay focused.
Dhiya Saadhana Dhiya Saadhana enjoys school and her behaviour is always good. Dhiya
Vikneswaran Saadhana understands how writing can be used to remember and
communicate. Dhiya Saadhana has a positive approach to a range of reading
matters she now needs to improve her confidence level in speaking basic
malay.
Eric Ng Eric Ng is beginning to understand the words. Eric Ng can copy basic words
correctly. With support, he is learning to use a dictionary to find out the
meaning of words. Eric Ng needs to improve his writing skills, now and he is
encouraged to do more writing activities
Hah Kang Rui Hang Kang Rui is beginning to form capital letters and digits 0-9 correctly.
Hang Kang Rui writes clearly with appropriate spacing between words. Hang
Kang Rui struggled in talking confidently in front of the class, now and he is
encouraged him to read more Malay books.
Manveer Singh Manveer is beginning to use correct grammatical forms when speaking and
A/L Sharanjit writing. With support, he can describe an object. With support, he is learning
Singh to use a dictionary to find out the meaning of words, now encourage Manveer
to read more Malay books.
Meerra Raji Meerra uses correct grammatical forms confidently and consistently when
Rajkumar speaking and writing. Meera has accurate spelling. Meera finds it difficult to
work in a group and is encouraged to work a team
Pugal A/L Pugal can recognise and write a number of familiar words. Pugal knows how
Murugan to use full stops appropriately. Pugal struggled to speak confidently in Malay.
Pugal is encouraged do practice to speak in Malay more at home.
Sahswin A/L Sahswin is beginning to write in sentences with support. Sashwin has shown
Pragash some improvement in reading. However, he does lack focus in lessons. He
needs to listen more carefully to instructions.
Sharvvani A/P Sharvani's letters are generally well-formed. Sharvani is a fluent and confident
Thayalan reader. Sharvani struggles to speak confidently in front of others. She is
encouraged to read more Malay books and gain confidence in her ability.
Yunni Leow Yunni is beginning to write in sentences with support. Yunni can differentiate
between letters and symbols. Yunni lacks the ability to numbers and some
words. Yunni is encouraged to read and understand more words.
Pua Jing Lun Pua Jing Lun recognises and reads a wide range of words and phrases with
accurate pronunciation. Pua Jing Lun can confidently respond to spoken
language. Pua Jing Lun struggled to work with groups. He is encouraged to
work on this skill.
Harsimmar Harsimmar can copy words accurately. Harsimmar can understand some of
the main points from short written texts. Harsimmar struggles to understand
the meaning of words. Sometimes and is encouraged to read more malay
books.
Darshan Raj A/L Darshan can write some basic words from memory. Darshan is beginning to
Selvaraj link the spelling, sound and meaning of some simple words. Darshan
struggles in reading confidently Malay sentences. He is encouraged to read
more Malay books during the holiday.
Kharthik Kharthik uses simple punctuation accurately. He often struggles to remember
the content covered in lessons. It would be greatly beneficial if some extra
practice at home is done.
Daniel Daniel writes letters and numbers of the correct size and with appropriate
spacing. Daniel recognises simple recurring language in stories. Daniel is
easily distracted for no reason. He needs to pay more attention in lessons.
Seraphina Seraphina presents work that is neat and clearly structured. When Seraphina
slows down and carefully completes her class work, she creates a good
standard of work. Seraphina can focus on the key aspects of what she wants
to say. She needs to improve her listening skills. It would be great if she could
start to practise her listening skills more by listening to Malay language audio
and books.
Daanishka Daanishka takes care and produces beautifully presented work. Daanishka is
good in written language but requires improvement in speaking. It is wonderful
to see Daanishka gaining the confidence to ask for help when needed. 
Yudhish Yudhish can correctly write letters and symbols. Yudhish makes a good effort
to learn new words. Yudhish can speak carefully and clearly. He can
sometimes lack focus in the lesson. It would be great if Yudish can pay more
attention in lessons.
Cheah Yik Shing Cheah Yik Seng can organise his writing using connecting words and
phrases. Cheah Yik Seng’s sentences are usually demarcated accurately with
full stops, capital letters, commas, and question and exclamation marks.
Cheah Yik Shing is often distracted by those around him and needs regular
reminders to focus on the task at hand. He is encouraged to demonstrate a
more responsible attitude and behavior in the classroom.
Divashni A/P Divashni can use commas and quotation marks with support, however, she
Kesavan seems generally on secure about full stops and the use of capital letters.
Divashni can spell the most common words. However, she often struggles to
focus in class, which harms her ability to engage well with class activities and
assignments. Divashni is encouraged to use time wisely to finish tasks in the
time required.
Lai Bo Xuan Lai Bo Xuan writes letters and numbers of the correct size and with
appropriate spacing. Lai Bo Xuan's written work is coherently structured and
carefully thought out. Lai Bo Xuan has problems with effective reading and
pronunciation. I would like to see Lai Bo Xuan apply consistent effort to read
more books in Malay.

Manreet Kaur 1. Manreet is beginning to listen to advice and this has led to a wider use of
Jasal adjectives and descriptive phrases in her work. Manreet 's general written
work is more often coherently structured and well-executed. Manreet is shy to
answer questions even though she knows the answer. She must ensure to
accept a share of the work when participating in a group assignment.

Moganeshwari Moganeshwari speaks audibly and fluently with a good command of Standard
Malay. Moganeshwari can maintain the attention of others in conversation.
Moganeshwari can get distracted easily during lessons and will loses her
focus. She needs to listen to directions more attentively during lessons.
Nirja Nirja demonstrates a good level of fluency when reading. She reads with
understanding and enjoys using reference books. She is beginning to check
through her work to ensure accuracy. Nirja lacks confidence with her
classmates. Nirja needs to learn to work in a group.
Prahlaad Pillai 1. Prahlaad produces writing that is generally well punctuated. Prahlaad can
spell most of the common words. Prahlaad is having problems with effective
reading and pronunciation and he needs frequent reminders to read with
confidence.

Vaikankrayan Vaikankrayan is beginning to use simple adjectives to describe things.


Vaikankrayan's handwriting has improved recently. He tends to write slowly
and is not able to get his ideas written. Vaikankrayan would benefit from using
the prompts available to him when writing.
Dhaanya Dhaanya is able to select appropriate grammar and vocabulary to change and
enhance the meaning of her writing. Dhaanya can create atmosphere in her
writing, using dialogue to convey character and advance the action. Dhaanya
finds it difficult in working with groups involving cooperation in group settings.
She should work on voicing feelings and opinions and listening to others.
Leow Zi Onn Leow Zi Onn understands that personal enjoyment can be informed by
reading experiences. Leow Zi Onn uses a range of grammar, vocabulary and
punctuation accurately in his writing. Leow Zi Onn is not a confident speaker,
but enjoys listening to stories. He is encouraged to be more confident to
speak in Malay.
Sham Ka Wai Sham Ka Wai listens with interest during lessons. Sham Ka Wai is able to
make simple statements about likes and dislikes in reading, sometimes with
reasons.He needs to improve in listening skills and follow instructions. Sham
Ka Wai is encouraged to be more focus and aware in lesson.
Vania Yadav Vania's handwriting has improved recently. With adult support, she is able to
use simple sentence punctuation accurately. Vania is beginning to use simple
adjectives to describe things. Vania struggled in make sentences in Malay.
She is encouraged to more Malay activities during her holidays.
Ogboo Gideon Gideon can correctly write letters and symbols. Gideon is beginning to
Aja Chinemeze communicate through simple words and phrases. Gideon has good ideas but
struggles to write them in a way the reader will understand. Gideon is
encouraged to read more Malay books to understand meaning.
Adrian Raphael Adrian is beginning to work cooperatively with others. Adrian usually listens
Farhan well. Adrian can write recognisable letters and symbols. He finds it difficult to
organise his ideas into sentences. He needs encouragement to write more.
Chang Jayee Chang Jayee is keen to share her interests with others. Chang Jayee can
write recognisable letters and symbols. Chang Jayee finds it difficult to
organise her ideas into sentences. She is encouraged to do more writing
exercises at home.
Chang Zi En Chang Zi Enn understands how writing can be used to remember and
communicate. Chang Zi Enn is a fluent and confident reader. Chang Zi Enn is
unwilling to participate in group activities and is encouraged to more
participate in group work more often.
Lee Jun Mun Lee Jun Mun is eager to express his thoughts to others. Lee Jun Mun asks
relevant and interesting questions. Lee Jun Mun finds it difficult to organise
his ideas into sentences. He is encourage to pay more attention during class.
Maagen Maagen can organise his writing using connecting and conjuncting words and
phrases. Maagen punctuates his writing accurately, using capital letters, full
stops, exclamation marks and commas appropriately. Maagen can be self-
conscious about speaking in front of others. He is encouraged to be more
confident to talk in front of his peers.
