Automatic Fabric Dying Machine

Malegaon is a textile hub and its economy revolves around the textile market. However, the
inertia of old technology has retarded the economic growth of the city. The cotton and textile
processing has various stages, dying being one of the most critical and significant stage. Till
date, dying process is not carried out at Malegaon which drastically decreases the profit margin
of the textile producer.

Nano composite Aluminum for Aerospace
Applications
Nanocomposite materials are attracting researcher community due to its excellent and thrilling
outcomes. Metal nanocomposites, specifically Aluminum nanocomposites, are practiced by
aerospace industry due to its high strength to weight ratio and exceptional wear resistance. Every
year one project based on nanocomposite material is carried out in Mechanical Engineering
Department.

Aluminum nanocomposite was formulated by stir die casting with reinforcement of alumina-
zirconia (Al2O3-ZrO2) nanocomposite particles. Samples were made by varying composite of
nanoparticles reinforcement. The invented nanocomposite was found excellent in tension and
wear resistance. Thermal conductivity also increases but with thermal stability. The
nanocomposite was proposed for applications in air-frame, aircraft bearings and manifolds

Wireless communication using Li-Fi

Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) is a new paradigm in wireless optical communication technology in which

light is a medium of data transmission between the devices. High speed data transfer and
communication is executed by using light. It is expected that Li-Fi technology can transmit data
at 100 GB/sec or higher. Li-Fi technology uses LED light bulbs to access internet with very high
speed, energy efficiency and safety.

In this research project, a Li-Fi dongle (transmitter) and speaker (receiver) for audio and music
applications are designed. This frontline technological project is successfully designed and run
by the faculty and students of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department.

Malegaon's first Incubation Centre inaugurated
at MMANTC Mansoora
Dr Atiqur Rahman Mohamad, Scientific Officer at Dept. of Nuclear & Atomic Physics at Tata
Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), and Arshad Mukhtar, Chairman Jamia Mohammadiya
Education Society (JMES) Sunday jointly inaugurated Malegaon City's first Incubation and
Research Center at Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Nadvi Technical Campus (MMANTC).

"With the inauguration of the Incubation and Research Center today, we have crossed yet
another important milestone in the field of education", Arshad Mukhtar , Chairman of JMES said
while addressing the Opening Ceremony organised at Abdullah al-Shaya Auditorium in
Mansoora, Malegaon City.

'We had planned this Incubation and Research Center the day we had laid the foundation stone of
Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Nadvi Technical Campus (MMANTC) in Mansorra", he said.

Research Oriented Mindset'
Arshad Mukhtar, chariman of JMES said the sole aim behind the establishment of the center is to
promote research in every field, especially the education.

"We want our students - whether they are from our Engineering college, Tibbiya College or
Shariah College, to study and work with research oriented mindset", he said.

"Today, I want to declare it, loud and clear, and with cent per cent conviction. A closed mentality
can't take us to the path of progress and development. Unless our students master in research, we
cannot dream of success and empowerment", he added.

In his speech on the occasion, Dr Atiqur Rahman Mohamad of Tata Institute of Fundamental
Research (TIFR) hailed the Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Nadvi Technical Campus (MMANTC)
Management for opening the Incubation and Research Centre for the Engineering students.

"The focus of studies in most of our engineering colleges is syllabus and text books. Unlike
medical colleges that have hospitals attached, engineering colleges don't have any means where
their students can explore their ideas and convert them in reality", he added.

"The Incubation and Research Centre at Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Nadvi Technical Campus
(MMANTC) will fill this gap and provide the students a platform to explore their ideas and
innovate things beneficial for the mankind", he said.

'Bridge between students and Industries'

Rashid Mukhtar, Secretary of the Campus, while sharing the scope of the centre told the
reporters that the Mansoora Incubation and Research Centre will work as a bridge between the
students, and industries and entrepreneurs of Malegaon City.

"The focus is to explore the ideas of the students and share it with local industrialists and
entrepreneurs so that they can be implemented on the ground", he said.

He said the centre will help the aspiring students to make successful their business models and
startups - from very basic to practically running it.

"We want to help our students in all sorts so that they become successful entrepreneurs", he said.

Page
21
He said some of the students of Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Nadvi Technical Campus
(MMANTC) have already started their businesses, coming out with innovative ideas in their
respective fields.

"Ours is probably the first institution in the country which has mentored startup projects before
the formal inauguration of an Incubation Centre", he said
