12.4 SHOP
12.4.1 Rework existing pilots or co-pilots instrument panel to a –1 or –2 configuration per
Star Aviation Drawing D-25-Y29-0345. Note that the –1 configuration modifies the
co-pilots side instrument panel for installation of the standby altimeter and the –2
configuration modifies the pilots side instrument panel.
OR
Request new instrument panel configuration from Star Aviation (251-650-0600).
12.4.2 Part mark the existing instrument panel “D-25-Y29-0345-1” or “D-25-Y29-0345-2”
using indelible black ink or other suitable permanent marking per MIL-STD-130, .125
inch high letters minimum.
12.4.3 If required, reinstall any equipment removed during panel modification and route the
D-25-Y29-0345-1 or -2 instrument panel to the aircraft for installation.
12.4.4 For aircraft with Rad Baro Altimeter, fabricate doubler using 0.040 inch clad 2024-T3
