I. Objectives
Content Standard The learners demonstrate an understanding of how individuals learn culture and
become competent members of society.
Performance Standard The learners
1. identify norms and values to be observed in interacting with others in society, and
the consequences of ignoring these rules;
2. assess the rules of social interaction to maintain stability of everyday life and the
role of innovation in response to problems and challenges.
Specific Objectives At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. explain the statuses and roles as part of the social structure,
2. identify statuses and roles played by oneself and others in the community,
3. evaluate the impact of the various statuses and roles of people for the attainment
of society's goals.
