    This product may only be installed by Siemens-authorized specialized installers, with
    experience in the design, installation and maintenance of automatic extinguishing systems.
    Installers must ensure that this product is used as intended, that any danger to themselves
    or to others is avoided, and that Siemens requirements are met (assembly instructions,
    technical instructions, commissioning, and operating instructions).
    Furthermore, the installation must comply with the accident prevention regulations and
    national regulations in force.
    Installers must also ensure that the operators have read and understood the information
    related to this product.

    Mounting
    To assemble the hose:
    ● Wind Teflon tape around the tapered thread of the fixed nut of the hose in the tightening
    direction.
    ● Screw the hose on the check valve or the discharge piping using a 46 mm open-ended
    wrench.
    ● Leave the possibility of screwing the hose to redirect it, if necessary, when connecting it
    to the cylinder.
    ● Apply fluorosilicone grease sparingly to the tapered seat of the valve discharge outlet.
    ● Screw the rotating nut of the hose on the valve discharge outlet.
    ● If the hose is in turned in the wrong direction, screw its fixed nut on the check valve to
    redirect it.

    Check that the hose neither bent too much (respect of maximum bend radius) nor too
    stretched.

    Refer to the commissioning instructions for detailed assembly procedures.

    Maintenance

    Storage
    ● Store in its original packaging, protected from shocks.

    Inspection every six months


    ● Check that the product is in a good condition.
    ● Check by hand that the product is corrected tightened and re-tighten if necessary.

    Every 10 years
    ● Replace the flexible hose.

    Replace the flexible hose more frequently if needed by environmental conditions.
