    BODIONGAN FESTIVAL QUEEN 2023


    GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS

    I. Over-all Guidelines
    1.The candidate must be a bonafide resident of Barangay Odiong.

    2.The participating Purok shall be responsible for screening the candidates in accordance to the
    rules and guidelines set by Bodiongan Secretariate.

    3.The contestant, upon the endorsement of their respective Purok must fill-in the official entry
    form on the date specified by the organizer.

    4. Coordinator/Artist will accompany the candidates during their scheduled rehearsals, and other
    Bodiongan Queen activities.

    5.The pageant shall be divided in 4 parts


    1. Production number in Bodiongan T.Shirt and Sexy Maong shorts.
    2. Swim Wear
    3.Tribal Costume
    4. Long Gown
    6.The points breakdown for each portion of the pageant will be as follows:

    Criteria for judging on advocacy


    1.
    a. SWIM WEAR
    1.Candidates will compete in a two-piece Boy Leg swim suit.
    2. Candidates must wear High Heels.
    3.Jewelry must be used.
    4.Big curl drop hair is required.

    Criteria for Judging


    1. Physical Attributes (Face and Figure)-35%
    2. Poise and bearing -25%
    3. Stage Presence – 25%
    4. Over-All Projection – 15 %
    b. Tribal Attire shall depict Bodiongan Festival

    Criteria for Judging

    1. Costume creativity – 50%


    2. Appearance/Projection- 25%
    3. Appropriateness – 25%

    C. Long Gown

    1. Contestants should wear a floor length gown of any cut /style and color

    2. Long gown must be of the artist choice of color.

    3. Gown should fit well and not be too tight, too long, or ball cut.

    4. Gown should complement figure


    Criteria for Judging

    1. Design and fitting – 20%


    2. Stage deportment – 30%
    3. Poise and bearing – 40%
    4. Overall impact – 10%

    D. Question and Answer


    1. Wit and Content- 40%
    2. Stage Presence-20%
    3. Projection and delivery-30%
    4.Overall impact – 10%
    E. Overall Criteria in selection of 5-finalist
    1. Tribal Wear – 10%
    2. Swim Wear -10%
    3. Long Gown –10%
    4. Q & A- 20%
    5.ADVOCAY- 50%

    F. Overall Criteria FOR TOP 3 WINNERS


    1. Intelligence – 20%
    2. Poise and Elegance-20%
    3. Beauty of body and Face-35%
    4.Overall Impact -25%

     Note-Ranking system shall be used.

    G. Prizes and Awards

    1. Consolation Prize-1,000 each


    2. Special awards -500 each
    a. Best in Tribal attire
    b. Best in Swim Suit
    c. Best in Gown
    d. Most Photogenic

    3.Major Awards

    2nd Runner up-1,500

    1st Runner Up- 2,000

    Bodiongan Festival Queen-3,000
