I can become emotionally intelligent in my personal challenges at home and in
accomplishing school-related requirements by having self management, self awareness, social awareness and management of relationships. I'm capable of maintaining self-control over my impulsive thoughts, feelings, and actions, regulating my feelings in a positive manner, showing initiative, keeping my word, and adjusting to changing situations. I am aware of how my own emotions impact my actions and thoughts. I am confident in myself and aware of my strengths and flaws. I understand and I am able to discern emotional signals, comprehend the needs and worries of others, feel at ease in social situations, and comprehend the relations of power in organizations or groups of people. I learn how to build and sustain positive relationships, speak clearly, motivate and influence people, collaborate effectively with others, and deal with conflict. My achievement at school and at work, as well as my ability to reach my specific goals, all benefit from having a high level of emotional intelligence.
