Executive Summary

Product

Eazypay is a point of sale mobile payment option which involves scanning of QR code for
payment after transaction. The QR code could either be displayed on a POS device of a retailer,
invoice of transactions or on the mobile device of the retailer and scanned by Eazypay app of
the customer. Once scanning is complete, payment is approved.

Customers
The target audience for Eazypay is Convenience stores and supermarkets, traders and
merchants, and indeed every business that receives cash for product or service offering.
EaZypay is important as it ensures ease of payment and removes the stress of getting change
after payment. It is also a means to further strengthen our case for a cashless society.

Future of the Company


There's no better time to reinforce the need for an alternate mode of payment that do not
require cash exchange, debit card exchange or even utilizing "unsafe" POS devices than the
time we are in now. Our present realities have been plagued by the covid-19 pandemic. People
would subscribe to an idea if their safety is guaranteed. This is why Eazypay will be most sought
after. The relative ease of payment will make it appealing to all social class in the country. Even
long after the end of the pandemic, Eazypay is the future of cashless policy in Nigeria.

Market Research

Industry
QR code payment is a contactless payment method where payment is performed by scanning a
QR code from a mobile app. This is an alternative to doing electronic funds transfer at point of
sale using a payment terminal. This avoids a lot of the infrastructure traditionally associated with
electronic payments such as payment cards, payment networks, payment terminal and
merchant accounts.

To use a QR code payment the consumers scans the QR code displayed by the merchant with
their phones to pay for their goods. They enter the amount they have to pay and finally submit.
This is a more secure card-not-present method than others.

The closest QR code payment method presently functional in Nigeria is Paystack. But Easy pay
will carve its own niche with distinct features that will set it apart from paystack. While paystack
uses Visa to process payment and automatically directs the user to his/her bank's mobile app
system to complete payment, Easy pay on the other hand is an e-wallet system that is
completely independent of any banking system. A buyer only needs to load his wallet and at
point of sales once the sellers QR code is scanned and approved, transaction would have taken
place.

The first mobile wallet app for crypto currency Bitcoin featured sending and receiving payments
with QR codes in 2012. In 2014, Chinese technology company Tencent introduced a new
feature on its messaging app WeChat to allow its users to make payments. This was introduced
via in-app online wallet and a QR Code payment system.

Eazypay is 100% safe as a result of its contactless feature. It also protects individuals against
financial crimes as it also prevents needless constant use of banks mobile app to process
payment. It is also very efficient and effective and saves time.

processes to opportunities for increased sales and promotion to potential customers
 Find trends in software solutions that may provide potentially competitive payment
services in order to ensure Eazypay continues to carefully carve its niche in the
marketplace

Growth Strategy
To grow the company, Eazypay will do the following:
 Network at various industries in areas of finance, production, food-beverages &
household items, drugstores, and healthcare conferences
 Establish a company website that contains engaging multimedia content about our
services
 As the business grows, advertise in publications that reach our target industries

Easy pay will communicate with its customers by:
 Meeting with local managers within targeted companies
 Using social media such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn

How to Sell
Currently, the only person in charge of sales for Eazypay is the business manager, Buchi
Maduka. As profits increase, Eazypay will look to draft in an employee to assist with account
management/coordination. This individual will also provide company social media and online
marketing support. The company will increase awareness to our targeted customers through
online advertising, proactive public relations campaigns, and attending tradeshows.
