future orientation entails preparedness, the learners are to develop such an attitude
with the knowledge and understanding of the content.

emergency.

I. Facilities in School in Case of Injury or Emergency

● School Clinic: Primary care is provided to a patient in the school's
clinic, where first aid and basic nursing assessments are provided in
emergency situations.
II. Items in School in Case of Injury or Emergency
● First aid kit boxes: A first aid kit is a container that has supplies for
tending wounds such as scrapes, burns, bruises, and sprains. This
usually contains plasters, sterile dressings, bandages, gloves, etc.
● Contingency plans: A contingency plan is a strategy created to assist
response in case of emergency.
● Medicine boxes: This contains medicines such as painkillers and
other over the counter pills.
III. Facilities in Community in Case of Injury or Emergency
● Private Clinic: A structure where patients go for treatment or advice.
● Hospital: A location where medical professionals treat patients who
are ill or injured.
● Barangay health centers: This provides first aid as part of a
community-based initiative.

● Ambulances: A specific vehicle and service used to transport patients
to hospitals.
